"The atmosphere was nice but would have liked a different table but our server was awesome and made up for the table. It was a pleasant surprise getting a free dessert for our anniversary. The food was very good and there are more choices on the menu that we would like to try. We live in PA and were given a gift certificate from our son who lives in Columbus. Always wanted to try a Cameron Mitchell restaurant. Would definitely go to another or go back to the Ocean Club."

"I hadn't been to the Ocean "Grill" for years....I'll go back very soon! We had grouper, salmon, and filet, and all were wonderful...big portions and had lunch for the next day too. I also had oysters on the half shell...wow! Great! Now about desserts....the peanut butter pie was wonderful as was the key lime pie! Again large portions and they were finished at home the next day! Check it out!"

"we were sat at a table in a back room which was more intimate than where we usually sit. we were able to have a conversation without the noise of the main restaurant, which can be very distracting. also, the sitting was better arranged wherein the main restaurant can be quite confining. We enjoy all all of the Cameron Mitchell restaurants, here and in other cities."

"Our first time at the Ocean Club and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, from appetizer to desert. We had a combination of seafoods and steak - my wife had shrimp linguine and I had a filet. Both entrees were very good. We shared an enormous twice baked potato that was very flavorful. We shares a Creme Brûlée for desert. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only negative was that the tables are very close together, enough so that staff had to turn sideways to get through and bumped into you occasionally. It was a special occasion for us and we'd definitely go again."

"As usual, the food was prepared very nicely and was delivered to our table at the correct temperature. There were three of us and we all enjoyed every part of our meals. Our server, John, was very attentive and handled everything very well and displayed a nice sense of humor. It was everything we expected when dining at The Ocean Club."

"This restaurant is on the second floor of an indoor section of the mall at Easton Town Center, and the elevator was not clearly enough marked for my 88 year old parents, who ended up taking the escalator while I waited for the valet to give me a ticket to park our car on a chilly mother's day evening. According to Open Table, we had a 6:15 pm reservation, but when we checked in, the reservation showed up as 6:45 pm. Luckily that was not a problem and we were seated right away. Service was a bit slow and sporadic, and the noise level was high, which is unfortunate because my dad relies on hearing aides. We had a very nice waiter, John, who made my Dad's drink the way he likes it, with lots of ice in a tall glass and plenty of Sprite."

"This place just flat-out does not disappoint.... even after 10+ visits. You will pay, yes, but here you really get what you pay for. It's the ideal pick if you are split on protein source....they do great job on both seafood and meat. Great deal on Sunday's---- 1/2 price bottles of wine and a killer selection at that."

"Mitchell's Ocean Club has always been one of our favorite restaurants in Columbus. This visit on Mother's Day did not disappoint. The tuna tartar appetizer was amazing and their seared scallops with parmesan risotto was excellent as well. My lemon drop martini was delicious, but sadly missing their usual dry ice for a special presentation. Apparently they were so busy that day that they ran out of dry ice before we arrived. My husband had a Caesar salad and blackened fish which were both delicious. He especially enjoyed the Eye of The Tiger IPA. Anything we ever order at Ocean Club is PERFECT. The service is outstanding as well."

"My 70 yr.old mom is not a complicated eater, for Mom's day she wanted to go to her old favorite seafood place with the cheddar biscuits. Instead we came to Ocean Club.
I had been there years ago and Mom never had. I recalled there was something special about the calamari, so we started with that. Mom never liked it before (only tried it once) because it was rubbery. NOT here! We both fell in love with the fresh, super tender, melt in your mouth dish. Mom got the crabcakes (2) which were HUGE and didn't really stay together, but that was fine, because these are REAL crab cakes and shouldn't have a bunch of filler. So much crabmeat!
I had the scallops on risotto which was incredible- I ate every bite.
The wine was excellent as well."

"My daughter and I planned dinner for a Mother's Day celebration together. She is a busy mom and I am a busy grandma. "I've visited Easton numerous times, always looking up to the patio of Ocean Club wanting to dine there one day. For my College Graduation, I selected to bring my family and friends there and it was a perfect ending to my day! Our server was so nice and on point with every detail. The food was perfect-nobody had any complaints! I had the shrimp cocktail (it 'smoked' when it arrived because it had dry ice under it-very attractive!), scallops, and the baked alaska to eat and a pear/grapefruit cocktail. We sat on the patio, which gave a beautiful view. They were willing to do anything to make my day special! I will be visiting Ocean Club again!"

"This was our first time to try Ocean Club. We did have to wait about 15 minutes after our reserved time. It was a very busy place. Once seated out waiter suggested several cocktails and told us of the specials. They were sold out of one sea food dish. Drinks and food came in a timely way. The food was excellent. Every dish was outstanding! All four of us got something different and we were all very pleased from steak to pork to tuna to the scallops!"

"Upon arrival it was a couple of mi utes befor we were greeted by our server but we were talking and I didn't really even notice. Server was very apologetic and made sure we were very well taken care of the rest of the evening. Excellent remedy to a mistake."

"we were taken to our table at exactly the time of our reservation, and the excellent experience continued from there. the service was wonderful -- attentive but not stifling, our waitress and her in - training assistant were personable, friendly, informative and thoughtful , even bringing warm bread with the entrees!!! we felt pampered and will return to try the outdoor dining space when weather is better. the food was delicious, black orchid specialty drink very special with a real orchid in the round ice cube -- worth ordering for this feature alone!!!"

"Four family members celebrated a wedding anniversary at Mitchell's. The service was excellent and the food was very good, from the French onion soup to the crab cakes, scallops, and ribeye steak. Dessert was a single serving of the ten-layer carrot cake (wishing anniversary congratulations around the plate edge) that we shared. The four of us agreed that the dinner celebration was an enjoyable experience and that we will be back to Mitchell's Ocean Club."

"I have been to Ocean Club a few times before & the service is ALWAYS outstanding. They have so many great 'small touches' that separate them from 'the other guys'. The wine list is extensive; if you dine on Sunday, it's 1/2 price bottles of wine under $100. For large parties, this is a nice savings. On this visit, our party of 7 was quite pleased with the service but the meals were just slightly less impressive. One bone-in ribeye was overcooked. Two of the salads were visibly over-dressed. The crab legs were a bit stringy & dry. On the flip side, the calamari was outstanding, as was the pork porterhouse & the lobster tails. Perhaps they were just a little 'off' on this particular Sunday. I will certainly return and give it another go!"

"Service was great. The fish dishes we ordered were very good. we also ordered a twice bakes potato to share and it was not good.
It was obvious the potato shell was prepared ahead of time and very dark on the inside. The kitchen had mashed potatoes and covered with cheese and put in the shell. The shell was very dry.
Bread was excellent.

"Our dinner at the Ocean Club was very disappointing as we were there for our 10th anniversary. I was hoping for rack of lamb, but it was not on the menu and was advised that I should have notified the restaurant if I wanted a special order. Okay, I get that. We orderd the calamari appetizer which was far below par. Too much sweet/sour sauce and veggies, although the calamari was not the best we've ever had, the quantity was minimal.The green beans on my husbands entre were stringy. Someone obviously forgot to de-string them. My scallops were fine, but the entre was not a standout. Unfortunately I do not think we will return to this restaurant as the price we paid for this meal was more than it was worth."
