We are a fusion restaurant that offers diners a one of a kind menu with endless options on how their meal is prepared. We take traditional flavors like Italian, Thai, Korean, Caribbean and Cajun and prepare them as your choice of entree. Entrees like Wok fried noodles, gourmet mac and cheese, open faced sandwiches, bruschetta style pizzas, crepes, steaks and ribs just to name a few.
We offer one of the best gourmet breakfast menu"s in the city. Our southern style breakfast is highlighted by cornbread pancakes, open faced omelets and New Orleans style French beignets.
Our mixologists have crafted a drink menu that is just as unique as our food. Why not try one of our hand-crafted tea and fruit infused "Nicatini's" or perhaps one of our absinthe infused cocktails. Nica's 320 also offers a wide array of boutique wines and a variety of ales, lagers and micro-brews. Traditional absinthe presentation. We have numerous none alcoholic drinks (Bubble Tea, Espresso drinks and smoothies)

"Food was great! Service was slow and it was a weekday so they weren't very busy. Fortunately we weren't in a hurry. Would have loved to sit on the patio but preferred inside to looking at the urban blight. :). The patio could be dressed up a bit to make it nicer than a slab of concrete between two buildings. However the food is good and interesting, we keep coming back. If you are there for breakfast, have a beignet!"

"Great food (varied menu), friendly service staff, décor just so so... had an unfortunate "last night's bar" smell when I first walked in; no one else noticed. Lattes and hot chocolate delicious. Omelets too. Thought the beignets were kind of dry - sister had the chocolate filled one which looked better (and she said good). Others enjoyed the Bloody Mary's. Had a good time. Not rushed."

"Went with a group of 9 and everyone enjoyed their food. The only bummer was that the desserts we ordered were somehow cancelled, and by the time our server realized this had happened and re-ordered them, it had been a good 20 minutes. He ended up comping our desserts but the wait was pretty out of control, and then it took another 15-20 minutes after finishing our desserts to get our bill settled. Love the place for its uniqueness. Service needs to step it up a bit or people will not come back."

"We visited Nica's early for dinner due to a 7:30 curtain up the hill at the performing arts center. The menu is rather exotic, New Orleans influence in many of the dishes. Our wait person was terrific at making recommendations, explaining what things were, etc. They have a great beer list, and the appetizers were spectacular, especially the hummus. Dr. John's Risotto was quite spicy, a soft-textured jambalaya. Beignets for dessert, not as great as those in the Cafe du Monde in the French Quarter, but certainly not shabby. I look forward to returning later in the evening sometime when I imagine there's a nice ambience of relaxed people and fascinating food to explore."

"First time visit, great experience. We had been advised to get the hummus small plate, and it was fantastic. Also recommend the sliders off the small plate section of the menu. Good bar options, and the salmon salad was also great. Would recommend highly!"

"We visited Nica's on double date with friends. The food was phenomenal. I love big flavors and Nica's provided that. It was a combination of spice and sweet that wasn't overpowering, but complimented the food and let the food speak for itself. For dessert, we tried the bread pudding and a tiramisu beignet. We were not disappointed. Both were among the best of either dessert that we had collectively eaten in our lifetimes.
The service was really good. The pace was relaxed, which allowed us to slowly enjoy the experience. We highly recommend Nica's as a great spot for a date night or a night out with friends who love food in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. We will be back."

"Once again we had a wonderful time! And not to mention the food was and is always phenomenal! We originally had a party of 10 for that evening but quickly changed when another couple decided they could join us after all. We thought adding to our reservation could be a bit of a problem, wasn't at all. That's just the type of restaurant they are. Very accommodating! Also, as we all finished dinner my wife and i happen to notice that all the dinner plates were practically licked clean. Amazing! That says a lot right there. We will absolutely go back again and again. We've recommended Nica's to friends and family. Overall great establishment!"

"We had never eaten at Nica's 320. From the minute we walked in the door, we were greeted and seated immediately. The staff and our waitress were friendly and very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We received generous portions and the food was excellent! We loved mixing the noodles with other items; loved the choices. The blackened salmon salad was excellent as were the basic side salads; loved the dressing. It was a pleasant dining experience and we will definitely be back!"

"We were there on Valentine's Day. My only negative is that they were under-staffed for how busy they were going to be. The waitress was pleasant, helpful, and apologetic about how long things were taking - but go there on a regular Thursday night.
The flavors and ingredients were fantastic. They had a special menu for Valentine's and I loved the pork - just enough sweet and spice. Everything looked and tasted fresh, presentation was simple but well done. I would recommend checking this place out - it's casual and high quality."

"As always, he food was great as always. However, this visit was not ideal. Due to a restaurant benefit promotion that evening there was a significant increase in diners throughout the KC area. Unfortunately, Nica's did not staff appropriately. We ordered drinks and appetizers at the same time. We received the appetizer 20 minutes before the drinks, they arrived 45 minutes into the meal. Our server was great and she had a wonderful personality, however she was spread so thin she had trouble keeping water in our glasses. Again, the food, as always, was great. However, this is not the first time their staff planning has been a challenge to the evening. Will I be back, most likely but it may be a while."

"We went primarily for the music which was great. Service was abysmal, only one server, apparently, for the whole back room. Food was edible and inexpensive but nothing special. "The manger was great but the entree that I had was tasteless. I did ask for it not to be on fire but then after tasting it the risotto and chicken was bland. I put my plate to the side and picked at my husband's entree. When we were finished they asked about the uneaten entree, by then we were ready to go and not wanting to receive something else. Service was horrible. One waitress for entire room. Two different times waited for wine over 10 minutes. Two ladies next to us kept trying to flag her down and still was not receiving attention. One of the ladies went to the bar to order her dessert. We also charged for the uneaten entree. There salad dressing was delicious but the house salad only contained, greens, carrot and Parmesan cheese."

"The server was super nice and helpful. The food was great! I loved the inventiveness and uniqueness of the menu selections. My only complaint was that there was a quite unpleasant woman sitting next to us that was complaining loudly about everything. She was quite snobby and rude. Other than that I would definitely come back here again."

"Our first visit to Nica's was last week. Nice salad, but I sent back te first one. I did not care for the house dressing. I had the balsamic vinegarette, which was good. My wife liked the house. Limited selection of wines by the glass. I had the tamales which were average at best. My wife had a blackened salmon, which was slightly over-cooked, but good. For dessert she had the bread pudding in bourbon sauce which was amazing! Great coffee too. I didn't ask, but I am guessing it is Parisi. Nice bar scene as well."

"The food was interesting and definitely unique. It may have too many flavors in each dish that it becomes overwhelming for the palette. However, I do appreciate they are trying to be different and the overall quality of the food was good. I thought the salad dressing was awesome! Loved the "heat" that was added to it. Unfortunately, our service was not good at all. Our waiter completely ignored us through most of our visit. It wasn't until the end when a waitress took over our table that we started to get some attention. Overall, I will probably give the restaurant another try."

"Cajun pizza was delicious and so was the mac n cheese with bacon added. Tamales were pretty good, not your normal tamales but I didn't like the mole sauce on top. Tamales came with a side of beans and they were bland & room temperature. Salad was very good - simple greens with a sweet & spicy dressing.
Good selection of beer. I ordered a rye whiskey drink Saggerat (sp?). It was made perfect.
Service was good. Our waitress was friendly, outgoing, and upbeat."

"This was my wife and I's first time to nica's. The restaurant is very nice and the service was pretty good. The only thing I was not too fond of was the prices. A little high but over all not bad for a first time visit! My wife and I ordered the build your own Mac and cheese and it was beyond Incredible like I said a tad on the pricy side but just an amazing dish! Will defiantly be going back!"

"The small plates were delicious. We did not go for happy hour but I think happy hour is the way to go . It is cool for a fun and relax night out .
The bread pudding is really good. To be honest one of the best we have tried in town.

"Food was good. They brought me fries when I ordered Mac and Cheese but I didn't bother them with the fix since they were so busy. However, since I was stuck with fries I wanted to eat them with mustard like I do with all fries...they didn't have any. I thought the first person I asked (lady who brought out the food) was just mistaken so I asked the waitress too and indeed they did not have any kind of mustard. There was no explanation for why there was no mustard, just a terse "NO."
ALL RESTAURANTS SHOULD CARRY BASIC CONDIMENTS!
Due to this oversight they will get a slightly misleading title for my review."

"This restaurant is such an unusual mix of flavors, that I just love trying things. That said, my favorite is dessert. The beignets and some of their special desserts (ie. french apple fritters and bread pudding) are just divine. It is the sauce that makes them so irresistable. This is my new favorite place to go. We also just discovered that they occasionally have live music too."
