"We had a 10 top and they forced us to do pri fixe menu. Also meal lasted 3.5 hours, poor service, evidenced by an hour wait for me to get an ordered beer. Each course came on the hour. Awful Service. Belly dancers were entertaining but nonetheless, awful experience overall"

"The photos looked really beautiful & I was in the mood for Egyptian food, so my husband & I decided to dine at Casa La Femme. I highly recommend doing the prix-fixe menu, we went ala carte & learned our lesson. You have to order everything, the entrees do not come with any sides at all. It added up to a lot but the outstanding service, awesome entertainment & romantic ambiance made it all worth it."

"The food was good. We did the prix fix menu (which is $60 per person, not $55 as stated on their website!). We had a 'tent' for two, which was romantic. The belly dancer performed around 8-8:30pm. It's a different and fun place for a special occasion (there were several large groups, including a bachelorette party)."

"CAVEAT EMPTOR Since it was on the Top 10 OT Romantic list w/ 4 stars, I assumed CLF passed the Foodie test - huge error. I was suspicious when I received 3 phone calls and an email trying to get us to commit to a Prix Fix tent table. The interior of the restaurant is exquisite, the belly dancer sublime. The service is "slimy' and the food was boring and over-priced. PF Chang serves more interesting food.. This is a gimmick restaurant with used car salesmen selling cafeteria food. The game is simple - how can we extract as many $ as possible. It took 5 minutes to convince our server we did not want the prix fix menu. Ask for wine by the glass, no you must want a bottle. Non composed entrees so one must buy cous cous at $7 - YUK."

"What an unsatisfactory dining experience! The service was abysmal... we waited over an hour to get pita and hummus. The food was expensive and not what they'd promised. My stuffed branzino was not stuffed; my husband's scallops, for which they charged extra, above and beyond the prix fixe price, consisted of a bowl of arrugula with four bay scallops.I could go on and on. (They put our hummus covered knives on the tablecloth for us to re-use with the main course; they forced us to have a prix fixe menu although we had reserved an a la carte meal.) Suffice it to say that customer service is not their strong point. The food is not good enough to make up for their unprofessional staff. Steer clear!"

"Four stars, the chef knows how to balance the seasonings to give his patrons a sought after taste treat without any overly intrusive elements. The staff was attentive without being intrusive. The "oriental" environment was more than comfortable and accomodating without being cheap and atificial.

"Restaurant is very romantic, especailly the private tents which are suited for 2 people or larger tents for larger groups. The food is excellent, but could be served in authentic Egyptian dishes rather than sushi-style platters and chineese spoons. Lastly, the music was terrible: loud commercial music played rather than middle-eastern music which would compliment the scene. Belly dancer was amazing!"

"This restaurant is off the beaten path,my navigator couldn't find it. The place has a nice feel. A nice bar but they ran out of Tequila @ 7pm then I ordered wine and they didn't have the 1st 2 bottles I asked for. Every course was too salty but good flavors. We sent our Octopus back (too salty) and it came back a 2nd time just as salty.Some of the staff had attitudes and were not attentive."

"The food was great and the ambiance is nice, however the services is horrible. They forgot about us when we arrived and didn't sit us for an hour, even though the restaurant was half empty. It took them 20 mins to bring a cup of tea. When we finally sat down it turned out that the fix menu is $5 higher than advertised (which is fine). Moreover, we were told that due to pipe problems they could give us tap water and we had to get a bottle. But then afterwards, they were refilling our glasses with pitchers of water.
Don't get me wrong the food in this place is really nice and the atmosphere is great too. But the poor services just kills the experience. You leave with a feeling that you have been ripped off and penny pinched."

"They have what are called private tents. I am not sure what I expected but the tent for 2 for me was uncomfortable. You are in a booth with curtain around it but are not closed for privacy. What the curtains do hide is the how close the other booth is pushed up against yours which is why I felt it was uncomfortable."
