"I have been to The Capital Grille on NUMEROUS occasions. All of my experiences have been nothing but 5 Star which is why I chose this establishment to celebrate my mother on Mother's Day. I had no doubt that she would enjoy that place as I had in the past. Boy, was I wrong!
In an effort to spare one a lengthy, play-by-play account, I'll jump right to the point. The brunch buffet was unimpressive. There wasn't enough food out, every time we went to serve ourselves; therefore, it was like eating from the bottom of the pan (getting the scraps that were left). The food was lukewarm, unseasoned or both. Sadly, it was a FORGETTABLE experience for all.
I am absolutely furious that I paid $98 for 2 adult buffets that tasted like Luby's!"

"I have had the pleasure of dinning at the Crescent Capital Grille on a number of occasions and highly recommend it. The Plano location is a different story. My first, and last occasion was Mothers' day 2013. They unfortunately only offered a buffet which was approximately $50 per person. The food more closely resembled fast food and the selection was extremely limited. Not to disparage Furr’s Cafeteria, but I would have exceedingly enjoyed Furr’s more at $50 per person."

"What an amazing Mother's Day Brunch at The Capital Grille! The lobster eggs benedict was freshly made and delivered to our table. It was absolutely delicious. Fresh squeezed orange juice and made-to-order french toast that tasted like it was made out of a giant cinnamon roll. Delicious! The buffet included sliced beef tenderloin, giant shrimp, crab claws and roast chicken with a large assortment of accompaniments. For the kids, they brought fresh, delicious mac-n-cheese and mini-burgers. Then, of course, there were the desserts. Our entire family loved it and will return again."

"We have been to this location several times with amazing food and service. This time, unfortunately, the service was horrible. Our server seemed disinterested, at best. He was MIA for long stretches of time, did not seem concerned about us when he did show up. He forgot NUMEROUS requests (straw, coffee,gluten free recommendations etc). When it was time for dessert he tossed the menus on our table and walked off. It is unfortunate because usually the experience is amazing."

"David guided and served us our meal. He was delightful and very knowledgable, a young man with confidence and savoire fare far beyond his years. We enjoyed his company as much as we enjoyed the meal. My Delmonico with the aged balsamic sauce melted in the mouth. Davie's filet and lobster was outstantding. For dessert Davie had the coconut cream pie which was good but was far outdistanced by the Cheesecake with strawberries and blueberries. That was pure perfection. The Delmonico bones also were savored by our border collie Mollie. She sends her thanks as well. All in all, a perfect evening."

"Marco was our waiter. He was so gracious, friendly, and quick to respond to our every need. We enjoyed our total experience! The food was amazing. We were never rushed and leisurely enjoyed our fellowship and food. Our total bill was over $100 for the three of us (no liquor), but, with the quality of the food and the superb service, it was worth every penny and we will eagerly plan to return very soon. I was so impressed that no matter how the customer was dressed or how affluent they appeared or did NOT appear, each person was treated with graciousness and friendliness. So refreshing!"

"Capital Grille-Consistently excellent in every way. The valet to the reception to the bar, on to the table and the satisfied walk out. The Proprietor, Greg Cavanaugh, is everywhere at once-he is a true Gentleman-knows his business-people, food, wine, excellent service and creates a comfortable, elegant ambiance. The Bar is professional and drinks well-made. The dining, inside, outside or in the "patio" that has large glass panels that open to vibrant street scene, each provide a different setting within this top notch venue. The Chef does a wonderful job, since we have never had a bad dish, and he is very personable. The service has been excellent-our favorite server, Ty, is above and beyond you might say over the top start to finish."

"We made reservations at Capital Grille to meet up with an old friend visiting from out of town. We selected Capital Grille due to the quality of the food and more importantly the reputation of the service. We were looking for a leisurely dinner. We've been several times and always enjoyed the attention and the dining experience. They were definitely OFF their game on March 17. Very disappointed. The waiter made several mistakes when taking our order; delivered wrong food, rushed the courses (steaks delivered while we were eating salads) and packed up the left overs while we were still eating! I'll chalk it up as a bad night and won't write off the restaurant - this time. Food was excellent as always."

"I had booked the reservation on the wrong night & they were so kind to accomodate us anyway. Troy was our waiter and could not have been better. Very knowledgeable and helped with suggestions. For those in our group that had never been to a Capital Grille, it set the bar at a higher level in a dining experience. Excellent!!!"
