"We've been going to Mother's Day Brunch for the last 4 years At The Rail and this year was less impressive than all prior years. The service was slow if at all. The chocolate fountain was gone and the deserts were bare. There was much less variety overall. Of the food choices available, the quality was great. The piano was moved to a less dignified back corner instead of the center stage it deserves. And I had to find my own rose from a bucket before leaving!"

"Great time for Mother's Day! Although it was crowded, the buffet was varied and certain items were prepared special by the kitchen. Highly recommended!"

"We have been going to At The Rail for the last 8 Mother's Days. 2011 & 2012 were just ok, but Mother's Day 2013, At The Rail is back to their master level! I believe their Manager, William, returning has much to do with it. Seated quikly, service was excellent, William visiited each table to say hello, food was excellent and wonderful selection and not an emply seat in the houe. Great job, highly recommend for Brunch or Dinner."

"Nicole was our waitress for a group of 14 and did an excellent job. Menu selection was good. Food was hot and came out at the same time. I ordered Red Snapper for the first time and I'm not sure if it's a dry fish (like a cooked Tuna steak) or if it was overcooked but I probably won't try it again. Chef sent out a complementary appetizer which was seared tuna with a pineapple type topping on a fried wonton. I'm not much for sushi or fish that is raw in the middle, but it was good. I had two. Special kudos to Nicole for doing separate checks. Most places won't do it and I'm sure it was a pain. Wasn't crowded at all for a Friday night but Saturdays are busier. Michael at the piano adds a great ambiance. Make sure to tip him. He takes request."

"The food and the service were fantastic. The tuna sesame roll was impressively good considering this is not an Asian cuisine restaurant. The Caesar salad was the sharpest tasting salad I have had in a long time. I will be ordering that again. The duck fell off the bone perfectly, and the vegetables were crisp and tasty. The chipotle clam chowder was hearty with just enough spice. My date ordered the spinach salad and NY strip steak dinner. Even though that is not his preferred cut of steak, he raved about it and said he would order the NY strip steak again. The wine list was not overly extensive but I was completely satisfied with the selection. The piano player in the background created a relaxing atmosphere while dining. The service was"

"We had a wonderful Valentines Day dinner. The single price menu was great with a nice variety of dishes. The Waite staff is always very pleasant and our servings were presented in a relaxed and timely manner. We have been to The Rail on other special occasions including our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. We highly recommend for a good meal."

"Love At The Rail for dinner, but also for Brunch! We spend every Mother's & Father's Day At The Rail. The food is consistently awesome. This last visit we dined with them for Valentine's Day....a first for us. We were pleasantly surprised with the incredible selection of they offered for their special 4 course meal. We generally avoid dining out on Valentine's Day due to the overpriced restricted menu most restaurants over, but were very pleased with our choices/price."

"Food At the Rail is always delicious and Friday night was no exception. Because we couldn't settle on entrees, my friend & I ordered an array of appetizers, soups, & salads, & of course, drinks & desserts!). Everything was very tasty. My favorite was the spicy tuna & crab sushi. In addition, throughout February the restaurant is offering Valentine-themed drink specials for $5 - the Orange Dreamsicle featuring Godiva white chocolate was lovely. For dessert i enjoyed an old favorite with a new twist: espresso creme brulee. Distinctive but quite good. There was also a three course price fix for $34.95, a tremendous value if you like the selections. Ambience is comfortable but elegant; warm piano music but the open room does create quite a din."

"Recently made a reservation for brunch at 11am and we were the only people there. The music was not appropriate for the setting (top 40 type music including rap) and seemed to be overly loud for an empty restaurant. I thought we were going somewhere upscale casual but it felt more like a bar atmosphere because of the music. The food was ok, service was good, staff was very pleasant. I had one of their versions of eggs benedict but the pancetta was very salty. Something else to point out is that the "brunch" menu did not include any lunch items- only breakfast. I would go back for lunch or dinner but I won't rush and I probably won't bother to make a reservation."
