"Had a great brunch at Riviera. Wonderful Belgian waffle with their special whipped cream and fresh strawberries. My wife's eggs benedict was perfect. The accompanying fresh fruit was special -- fresh mango, canteloupe and other fruit, all of which was perfectly ripe. Service was just right -- helpful but not obtrusive."

"We got sat in the back room. We were a group of 8 celebrating a graduation. There was a group of 6 behind us. While it wasn't the restaurant's fault, this group of 6 was so load, obnoxious and offensive, it made our exceptional food turn into a less than awesome experience. I wish someone from management had let the table know they were over the top and offensive. But I would definitely go back and just hope they aren't regulars."

"New ownership has maintained the standards Food is consistent tasty and prepard and served kept the same menu which is balanced and inviting.But they have kept the same negative ...the kitchen,in preparing the meals either is too small for for the size of the resturant or undestaffed.They are unable tot pace their output.
slow /late paced service , no one is paying attention to the guests that are more than patiently waiting.
In fact management should be all over the the guest ,extra drink,desert etc.in attampt to acknowledge and try to impress in an area they could to make up for the late delivery and poor service."

"We took my mother to Riviera for a belated Mother's Day celebration, and it was exactly what we wanted. We had been there a couple of times prior, but not since the new ownership took over. The food was excellent - Everyone was very pleased with their entrees (2 lambs, 1 duck, 1 pasta and 1 steak), the shrimp scampi appetizer was particularly delicious, and the wine we selected was quiet good and at a reasonable price. We would definitely return."

They offer a larger size martini of 10 oz > the more typical 6 oz drink. However, the charge was $21.00!! Way too much. Mastros gives you a drink and a half and they only charge $16.00"

"Loved the food (New York Steak, Risotto, Chilean Sea Bass - all wonderful), but the waitress took forever for every step of the process; 15 minutes to bring a menu, 20 minutes to get the bill paid - absolutely ridiculous, especially since it wasn't crowded. I won't go back. Much better service and food in several other Calabasas restaurants."

Even if Chase was only on his second week he handled himself like a pro we have been to many restaurants and we were impressed.
Had beet salad, and lamb chops: superb. Wife had the portabello mushroom appertizer and the Ciopino and she loved it

"Before this restaurant was sold I was a regular customer until I had a very bad experience and I never came back. After they were sold I walked in introduced myself to the general manager and told them I wanted to try your restaurant again and could I please when I come back have one of my two favorite tables. He checked the computer saw that i was still in the computer and please come back. I made a reservation later that day requesting one of my favorite tables, when I arrived, the general manager was at the front desk, he did not know me from our conversation a few days before and I reminded him of it and he proceeded to sit me at probaly the worst table in the restaurant and told me this was the best he could do unless I wanted to wait"
