"Made a reservation for 6 pm dinner via opentable.com - all times are available, that's a pleasant surprise. When we arrived the manager gave us a good table in the center. The table is full sized for 4 so we two felt very comfortable at it. The restaurant's interior is very nice and friendly. The service is fast and perfect, our poor English was not a problem to communicate with the staff. Large selection of beverages, meats and desserts. Complimentary assorted antipasto and several kinds of bread, all good. Ordered two 8oz wines, they brought small decanters for 'em - convenient. Steak, salad and dessert are perfect. No drawbacks, only happiness. We'll definitely come here again."

"Great service, great meal and a very nice ambiance for a celebration. Every time I've been here they've surpassed themselves. The only odd thing was that someone from management started hovering at the end of our meal and well before we were given our check. The restaurant was half empty (with places for large parties still), so the extra surveillance was puzzling and the only off note of the evening."

"So good that we have decided to hold our rehearsal dinner here! They have a private room on the second floor with a terrace and gorgeous skyline view. Food was outstanding, specifically the chicken parm, chicken/blue cheese, shrimp and philly cheese steak spring roll appetizers all served with their own sauces as well as the salmon salad and filet dinners. Menu contains a lot of variety, thus there is something to please everyone. Looking forward to the rehearsal dinner next year!"

"We ate at Davio's Saturday night 9pm- 4 adults and 1 child (6yo). The food was beyond outstanding but what made us all stop and say WOW was the customer service. From the moment we checked- until we walked out we were referred to by name by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our bar check was effortless transferred to our table. Drink and food recommendations were great. At some point my son was tired so "Noodles" the creative server brought my son his noodles in 2 minutes. After he ate, kiddo wanted to lie down in the bay window next to our table and before his head hit the wood, he was cushioned with clean folded up linens and covered like it was a blanket and mattress store. We were even sent home with cookies to wake up to :)"

"The food was amazing! It all started with the complimentary bread that was delivered with two spreads and some marinated olives. We got two appetizers, Philly cheesesteak rolls and the calamari fried. Then we got the short ribs and prime flat iron steak. Everything was very good. The servers were very attentive and took the time to really explain the menu. Our overall experience was excellent. It is a little pricey so we would only go back for a special occasion."

"We had a wonderful experience at Davios - celebrated our 24th anniversary. The food and service were outstanding - a special recognition to Joe with whom we had a delightful conversation about wines and he went to extra effort to provide us some label information on wine we tried for the first time. My only suggestion would be perhaps better communication between the sommelier and the servers on what wines he is currently out of as it took close to 25 minutes from the time we placed our wine order until we were actually served (and that was after the first 2 selections were not available) Otherwise, a truly delightful experience."

"This was my second visit to Davio's but the first time with my husband! We were in Philly celebrating our anniversary and his birthday. I requested a window table and we were seated at a perfect table for two by the window.
Our servers were superb! Christian and Neil were attentive, informative, extremely professional and personable!
The meal was outstanding --the calamari is the very best we have ever had--melted right in your mouth! Our entrees were outstanding and everything was timed perfectly.
Even our drinks, Manhattans and Sidecars were wonderful. We would recommend Davio's to anyone who wants to experience a fabulous dinner with awesome service!!!!!!"

"Best service in town! Servers very attentive and polite. Food was overall delicious. Beet salad lacked flavor and needed more goat cheese, would not order again. My husband ordered Kobe meatball and that was delicious. My scallops were seared perfectly! My husband's NY Strip was very flavorful. Blue crab risotto and asparagus were great additions to our meal. Chocolate soufflé was rich and a perfect way to finish the meal."

"Excellent experience. The food was very well prepared and presented. Highly recommend the spring rolls--certainly the highlight of the meal. The atmosphere was perfect for a special dinner occasion. The service was outstanding. very attentive group without being intrusive. It will likely cost you $150 for two people with tip. But, it is well worth the price for a special dinner experience."

"Simply an excellent restaurant! Ettore and his staff make every visit top notch, whether for a business lunch or a dinner with friends, Davio's is simply an excellent place to dine and feel like a VIP! I have had the fish, the steak, the soup and the appetizers and honestly, it’s all great, and when you add on the professional service…it becomes one of Philadelphia’s Best Restaurants!"

"The food was excellent, I especially loved that fact that's could turn my entree into a smaller portion. This gave me the opportunity to order an appetizer. The wait staff were very attentive and knew the menu well. I would absolutely go back!"

"Davio's team executed fantastic service during our dinner! Food was great. One note to mention is that there was a significant delay between appetizer and entree to the tune of 25 minutes. I know it was prime-time and the kitchen got backed up, but a simple word from our server ensuring our meal was on the way would have made the difference between Very good and Excellent."
