"Good food, prepared to the right spice level. Service was ok. More rice is needed with each dish, however. Should be no extra charge for rice. I liked the outdoor patio--pleasant atmosphere."

"My wife and I went to Teak Thai before a show at the playhouse on a Sunday around 6. We were very pleased with the experience.
The place wasn't packed, but it wasn't empty either.
My wife had the Seafood Delight with a brown sauce & I had the Seafood Choochee at a 5 on a scale of 3 to 10. We both loved our choices and each others, though my wife would have knocked the 5 down to a 4.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely return and we discussed coming back even if we weren't going to the playhouse. They also have a parking lot across the street from the restaurant."

"The food was good and authentic. Really liked the location and neighborhood location. Service was friendly. Be careful when you ask for medium spicy. It is hot compare to other places when you ask for medium."

"Love the food here as always but was NOT happy that they were out of wine that I wanted? Then my friend ordered a sald and they were out of that? Come on!!,"

"The price was good, but overall we were disappointed with our experience. The pad Thai was so-so (lacked seasoning) and they were out of several beers. The menu was chintzy looking - items crossed out and written in all over. The service was slow and not very attentive. We were expecting more, having been to other restaurants owned by this group."

"This was my second time eating at Teak and it was just as amazing as I remember it being the first time. Excellent food, great service, and a beautiful environment! The dining experience doesn't get much better than that."

"Upon arriving, our group was seated at a table upstairs in an empty room. The ceiling had large sections of paint peeling and it was not appealing in any way. Our waitress was Lily and she came right over and introduced herself. However, things got off to a bad start when the restaurant didn't have a few of the beers we wanted. It was early (6:30) on a Saturday night and they even said they were expecting several large groups. How do you not stock the beer listed on your menu? Also, our waitress didn't know anything about the beers and dismissed that because she "didn't drink beer." No, but you SERVE it. The food was cold when it arrived, though the sushi was good. Overall, I think there are better places to go for Thai food."

"Without fail always feel lowsy after eating here. We had to wait 15-20 mins before anyone brought us water. Disappointing for a neighborhood restaurant. Real sushi lovers should go elsewhere."

"Overall I was good for a large party (we had 8 people). However, our server wasn't the most attentive and lagged getting drinks. (In his defense we were on the third level and I'm not sure if he had to walk all the way downstairs or not). The pad Thai is SUPER spicy. I ordered a level 5 thinking it would be pretty mild, but that's not the case. If I were to order again I would shoot for a three. It would have been enjoyable if it weren't unbearably spicy. There was no music on the third floor so it left for awkward silences during our meal."

"When I visited the restaurant years ago, I was impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere. So when I took my wife there for her birthday, I had high hopes. I was gravely disappointed. Teak used to be the best and one of the only sushi and Thai places in Cincinnati. They seem to have responded to the competition popping up all over town by letting themselves fall apart.
They first lost our reservation, a capital offense for a business in their position. Then we were told that the bar was out of many ingredients needed to fill our order, but that they'd whip something up (that ended costing full price). The service was slow. Of the four sushi rolls we ordered, only one was good.
Don't eat at Teak."

"We love the Teak! Food is consistently good and service is always top notch. When we have Playhouse tickets, they make sure you have time to spare. We have come here for family events, a couples night out, with friends. Can't be beat! A Cincinnati Gem!"

"We had a reservation for four. We were one of two couple's, reservation under my name. We arrived separately. We saw them when trying to park. When we entered, no one helped us for about 10 minutes; During that time, our friends did not arrive. When finally helped, we explained that we were part of a party of four and could our friends already be there? The staff said no and seated us on the lower level. After 30minutes and still no friends, I went back to the host to inquire. Told no one else there. However, by luck my friend, who had been seated in a different room, had decided to check with the host if we had arrived and so we "found" each other. So, our experience was disorganized and unapologetic, our time together cut short."

"I have been many times, it seems that service and food have just declined over the past year. We ordered Sushi rolls at first. The rice was very mushy and the rolls lacked taste. We also order shrimp and scallop Pad Thai to share. The Shrimp and Scallops were very undercooked."
