This is American Regional Cuisine at its classic, pub-inspired best. The food is fun and what we like to call “approachable”. You’ll also enjoy some twists on the classics with taste-inspired ideas like our Dirty Caesar Salad and Greek Turkey Burger. At the American Tap Room we believe in using local ingredients as much as possible and, yes, everything we serve goes well with beer.
Ranging from weekend brunch, to a casual lunch outing or an after-work gathering in our bar, each dining experience is uniquely enjoyable.
Enjoy your time with us on our outdoor patio, inside by the fireplace, or by booking an event in our private room.
"The restaurant was too busy for the level of staff that was on. Managers were having to fill in and run around. Our server was never around and the kitchen was very slow."

"Accidentally booked my Mother's Day dinner on Monday not Sunday at another restaurant. Ended up booking a reservation here last second. Great beer selection which is a given. Food was pretty good, I had the ribeye. The server was knowledgeable of the menu and drinks however the menu was extremely limited. I know this helps with food cost and being able to put the best ingredients into the dishes that are offered; however, the food did not blow me away.
It was a very nice feel with the large chairs and innovated light up menus, but after all the little innovations there still left some to be desired."

"All of the food at the brunch buffet was, at minimum, good, and was often very good. I would defnitely recommend the establishment to a friend, and I fully intend to return."

"the food was very mixed. salad was brown and pizza was mediocre. But really liked the checken and waffles a lot and liked the steak sandwich. some liked the pretzel but it wasn't homemade and the dips were just okay - nothing special. ambience was nice. beer list was average."

"Our food and drinks were fine, once we received them. Service was incredibly slow and the server did not check on us at all once we had our meals. We had to track down another server to get our check and the manager ended up closing out our check. We may go back for the bar, but not a sit down dinner."

"The food was great and so was the Patron margarita. Only complaint was the black & tan came with bass or Sam Adams instead of Harp as requested and the white sangria came with a lime instead of mango. Loved the fried chicken and waffles and the spinach salad."

"The food was good but for being a tap room I was unimpressed with the beer selection. The service was okay. They brought us the wrong food and took forever to get our orders. One of the biggest pluses about the location is that there is an easily accessible parking garage across the street. For a nice evening out I would recommend it but don't have great expectations."

"My girlfriend and I got a seat quickly, and our server was both polite and helpful with the menu. The beer selection was impressive, as was the rest of the bar, but the food seemed like an afterthought. It wasn't horrible, but I wouldn't write home about it. For the price, I was expecting more. I'd go back, but not for anything more than drinks & maybe a app."

"nothing special at the american tap room, and nothing bad either. good food at good prices and served by polite young staff. if you're looking for a reasonable place to eat lunch during the business day, you likely will not be disappointed here. just don't expect great!"

"My husband and I have been to ATR a few times and we have always had a great experience. It gets busy on the weekend so a reservation is probably suggested if you don't want to wait. Our servers have always been great and we are always pleased with our entrees (filet, crab cakes, burger, pizza - all excellent). ATR recently expanded its dinner menu and I think that really expands the appeal of the restaurant - no matter what you are in the mood for there is something on the menu for you - making this great for groups. Not only good for dinner but also has a wide array of brunch options, which are delicious (French toast is crazy and VERY good). The food isn't fancy and they focus on traditional "American" choices but they do it very well."

"I ordered an imported draft beer and they brought me the wrong one. The waitress assured me it was the right one, so I went to the bar and the bartender confirmed that it was the wrong one. Not a huge deal by itself, although this place SPECIALIZES IN BEER. After that, the food was fair to poor. We went on Valentine's Day so I got the special -- the spinach dip was like condensed soup, accompanied by greasy fried pita triangles and Ritz crackers -- seriously, Ritz crackers. The lobster tails were nothing special. The chocolate mousse seemed like it was just scooped into pre-fab chocolate cups."
