"I have been many times before, but had never taken my 16 year old son there. The waiter was great and together they created a dish that the chef prepared perfectly. He ate the whole bread basket, salad and pasta. We will definitely go back."

"The food was good. My biggest complaint is that their online menu needs to be updated. In the past, I had had the caramelized chilean sea bass and the bread pudding, both of which were superb! I checked their online menu and saw that they were still on the menu so I made a reservation. When it was time to place an order, I was told both items were no longer on the menu. Very disappointing!"

"Service was a bit slow, we thought, but when the food arrived it was very much worth the wait. We asked for, if possible, a quiet table where conversation with old friends would be possible and the restaurant totally accommodated that request. We were seated at a lovely table for four in the corner of the room and it was lovely. Also, the staff was super-friendly. Nice evening all around."

"I have been going to Tuscany il Ristorante for many years now. Often I sit at the bar and have dinner and sometime with others at a table. The experience is always very good. I really love the food and the service is quite good. The food items are very flavorful and authentic to the Tuscan region. Beware Tuscany can get crowded at certain times, plan accordingly. It is likely that I will continue to patronize Tuscany for the foreseeable future. It is a ristorante I really enjoy!"

It took so long that they were taking away our appetizer plate before we received our starter salad. But the ambiance was great and food amazing. "The food was a little disappointing. The crab cakes were very good but too small. Also the short ribs lacked any color or depth of flavor. My fiancé loved the Valentines surf and turf we also thought the dessert was delicious. The service was also a little disappointing I'm used to having someone at this resturant be attentive and knowledgeable it seemed to me our server didn't want to be bothered with explaining the specials or checking in on us for re-fills etc. Tuscany II has always been a five to me but now it's more of a three."

"We arrived for a 6 PM reservation thinking that we would be early and since we had theater tickets for an 8 PM performance. We were surprised to find the restaurant quite full and every seat at the bar was occupied as well. "Always a pleasure to dine at Tuscany. The evening specials are always excellent! Tomasso and his staff provide one, if not, the best intimate dining experience in the Thousand Oaks area. We have so few excellent, well managed restaurants in our area, and Tuscany is the best!"
