The Artichoke Restaurant & Bar
The Artichoke has a Classic American Menu to suit most any appetite. Located in a 100 year old Farm house it is a cozy atmosphere that lends to a comfortable dining experience. Beverage service includes a full bar and carefully selected Wine List to match any of the menu selections and customer tastes.
The entree selections start with chicken items followed by Shrimp three different way as well as Tilapia and Salmon. Our steak choices include the major cuts like KC, Ribeye, Top Sirloin and our Filets are all Prime. Each entree comes with a soup or house salad and side selection and we have upgrades of salads and vegetables. Our well trained staff can help guide you to the perfect meal for any occasion and if you come in for your birthday or anniversary we have our special dessert for you topped with a candle. Reservations are always a good idea so we can have your table ready when you arrive.

"Overall the food was good. The crab cake appetizer was mediocre at best. I had a pasta with shrimp special and it was very tasty. My wife had a bone-in pork shop that was very good."

"Excellent food and service. Four of us had 3 different dishes and all were great. Drinks were excellent too. Cesar salad was only item that was just OK. We really enjoyed dinner and had great time. Also, very reasonable prices on wine."

"Reservations on Wednesday on a bad weather night during slow tourist time. Since there were only a few other tables with patrons, the noise level was quiet, but during the summer I would say the noise has been more on the noisy side, but not enough to discourage conversations at our table. The service was often, but not obtrusive. During the course of the evening, we were attended to by every one of the front room staff. Always order the mushroom appetizer. It is to die for. All the dinner salads were freshly made. One guest opted for a tomato soup appetizer that she raved about. I had lemon salmon. 4*. Panko Tilapia 5*. Stuffed Shrimp 5*. Price was right. Go there. You won't be sorry."

"Great place - I love the "old house" atmosphere. It may not look fancy on the outside, but that character is reflected inside. Great food, as always. It's the place I take special guests when they visit at Grand Lake. Consistent, friendly, fresh and top quality. Excellent food yet informal."

"The Chef came to the table before she prepared our meal. The owner brought the food out with our waitress. We had our 10 and 12 year old and they were happy to accommodate our youngest with a grilled shrimp dish even though there wasn't one on the menu. Just the right amount of attention from the staff. The courtesy reading glasses are a nice touch, as well as the frameless candles."

"We love this place! We were here twice this week and have already made reservations for Valentine's Day! The Caesar salad is outstanding and the 6 oz filet is the best in the area. Make sure and try the chilled spinach dip they serve as it is one of the things we look forward to. Service is attentive but not overbearing and the owner is on site to assure quality is high and consistent. They even have reading glasses on the table for those of us who could use them and may have left tem at home. All said, The Artichoke is a gem of a restaurant !"
