"Finally our first visit to eat at the Davenport! Our family of 4, all adults thoroughly enjoyed the Easter Signature buffet. We arrived an hour early just to look around. They seated us right on time with the reservation, we were seated in the Hall of Doges which is quieter and serene than the big ballroom it adjoins. The staff was all very friendly and helpful, our waitress very attentive. The buffet tables were beautifully arranged, easy to access, fresh replacements of food items were quickly and timely put out. Some items were just OK in taste; the crepes and salmon. Most items were just delicious; I loved the Eggs Benedict, ham, bacon, wheat rolls, fresh salads and sushi. The Davenport Signature cheesecake is superb!"

"The brunch is every Sunday until 1:00pm and costs $35 per person, which includes bottomless mimosas/champagne. Cocktails are extra. For special occasions (Easter, Mother's Day) it's $45, which is aggravating because 1) they don't advertise this; and 2) there's absolutely nothing at all different about Easter brunch, except that it's in a larger room.
The food was decent, about what you'd expect from a buffet as far as quality (some good stuff, mostly mediocre stuff). The selection, however, is remarkably extensive. There's a cold seafood and salad table, carving station, hot entrees, a waffle/omelet/crepe station, and dessert table with chocolate fountain."

"A historic setting for Brunch a must for special occasions. Friendly staff, great layout easy to navigate the dinning room. Buffet layout arrangement set up in a manner that lets you enjoy the atmosphere and have many courses. A chocolate fountain was a great pleasure to see and delight. No rush from staff for table turnover. Chef asked patrons how things were he and staff asked insightful questions. I especially like the large mirrors and the decor very elegant without being over done. A community jem!"

"We have done this brunch many years, this one was the worst, the service was poor, the food was good, but we were looking forward to the crab that wasn't there.... that was why I picked this for my wife... the water had a smell and tasted bad, brought it to the attention of the manger.... he smelled it shurged his shoulders, the ice machine needed cleaned, was way above the cost for what we should of enjoyed, we wont be back..... ever...."

"When I think of a Special Place to take my wife for an exquisite meal, or just to enjoy the spectacular architecture and ambiance or to spend a copy night snuggled, The Davenport is perfect. We just celebrated our eighteenth wedding anniversary with the Sunday Brunch and Overnight Package. It was just wonderful and relaxing. We actually ordered Room Service and watch the Oscars' from the privacy of our room....we plan to do this again next year. Wonderful food, service, hospitality, what else could we ask for?

"We had reservaitons for 10 am- we ended up being the first called to be seated- we were given the tour of the buffet and seated. One of the waiters noticed me from a past meeting we had been to and was very kind and freindly- he poured our champagne and orange juice before we even got to order anything. The service was exceptional and the food was to die for. We did not get a chance to try the bloody mary bar (had to drive) but it looked great and we understand that they are very good. I would suggest reservations early so you can enjoy very short lines to the food. as well as a fairly quiet atnoshpere for about 45 minutes- an hour then it starts to get busy."

"The ballroom Brunch was served in was a spectacular venue. A grand throwback to times long gone. The service was spot on never more than a few steps away if we needed something. All food was scrumptious and the selection was fine, particularly on the cold table. However in many ways the food selection was standard fair at a Sunday brunch. Somewhat on the expensive, about $5. - $10 in our humble opinion."

"You can not beat the service or the ambiance at The Davenport Hotel. It was very special champagne (mimosas) and we had a wonderful time but I have to admit I was a little disappointed in the food. The roast beef was so tough I couldn't eat it and the fish, although it looked wonderful, was inedible. Otherwise, everything was very nice."

"Their champagne brunch is the best in the Inland Northwest. They have some unique items on their salad bar...loved their scallops and my husband enjoyed the large selection of cheeses. The ham is delicious. They have a fresh omelet bar and crepe station. Don't miss the dessert bar with their soft peanut brittle and the flourless chocolate cake! It is a great place to sit back and enjoy your company with some great food."
