"My son ordered the pork tenderloin medium and it came bleeding and bright pink (There was a pool of pork blood on the plate). He doesn't care to eat rare pork, so he sent it back. The chef sent a message that he was fine with it, but he would cook it more. He did so, and even then it was very pink in the middle, but my son ate it and said it was very tasty. My complaint is that I don't care if the chef is ok with it. The customer is paying for it, the customer is eating it, and it should be cooked the way he wants. We were made to feel very uncomfortable, as if we had no right to send anything back. This is in direct contrast to my last experience, which was excellent, but this visit left a very bad taste in my mouth."

"The food was good as always but the service left a little to be desired. Our waitress was nice and friendly enough but when one of my friends didn't like the drink she ordered, the tone of the waitress changed. She did replace it but everything seemed to take forever (we asked for bread in the beginning and it took some time to get to us) and the credit card machines were taking 5 minutes per card is what we were told (obviously not her fault). The restaurant was very loud and it was difficult to have a conversation. We were even in a side room where it was quieter. Overall, food was good, service could have been better but more than likely I will return."

"I love the food at TB's but the happy hour from 4 to 6 can be a bit loud so book your table after 7 if you don't want the noise. It gets slammed on Friday and Saturday nights so don't even think about going without a reservation if your more than a table of 2!"

"A great place to people watch while dining on the patio. The ambiance is quiet and calming. There are lots of well-manicured plants and trees and the restaurant is very clean and well-decorated. There is a nice variety to the menu and the desserts are very tasty, especially the pineapple creme brûlée. We enjoy dining with friends at the restaurant. There is something for everyone to enjoy."

"We took a friend visiting from Australia there as we were doing some shopping at the mall. Overall the food was quite good, a mix of Caribbean, Hawaiian and other island style cuisines. Our server was ok but kept chatting with the other servers and we had to get her attention on 2 occasions to get our orders in."

"We're a group of neighbors who lunch together about once every two months- and we choose Tommy B's because of the fun drinks and the entrees. Our favorites are Tortilla soup, Crab bisque, Scallop Sliders and Coconut Shrimp. Loved the new Pineapple Creme Brulee- so fun served in an actual slice of pineapple."

"As always, we enjoyed it. We went a little later in the evening this time and the noise level was very high. Hard to hear the server at all. Probably should have requested patio seating, but if we had done that, we would have missed the 'vibrant bar scene' where there was a group that was enthusiastically dancing around to the live music. That was actually half the fun! Sweet Caroline never sounded or looked so good - so good so good. haha"

"Unlike other restaurants in The Woodlands, Tommy Bahamas is great at keeping your reservation on time. My family walked in right about 11:30 for our 11:30 reservation, several customers were sitting on the bench waiting for a table. We walked straight to our table with barely any hesitation. With 1.5 and 4.5 year old children, that was VERY important to us.
The food did take a bit to get to us, but it was Mothers Day so I'm sure the kitchen was slammed."

"A good evening. Tommy's offers inside and outside dining to the pleasure of most. Menu is an interesting mix of American and Caribbean type of food, heavier on seafood than meats. Order the Pineapple Creme Brule for dessert!
The restaurant is casual and fit for couples, parties and families. Ambiance is lively with live music and a vibrant bar area that continues well past the traditional happy hour time period.
This Saturday (evening before Mother's Day) was very busy however the only impact was slightly degraded food preparation. Mahi Mahi was overcooked but my wife's shrimp and scallops very good. Only significant hitch: Our waiter delivered the wrong vintage of wine without notice. Corrected when pointed out to him."

"My wife and I enjoyed a night out at Tommy Bahamas. It was our anniversary and we went all out. I was a bit suprised at the limited menu but the dishes we had were very good. I think the menu had more drink choices then food choices. The staff was great and the atmosphere was energetic."

"I love this place, but this was a bad experiance. We were sat in a really bad location with a very loud huge group table, in the "private room". I don't know why we were sat in there. The room only had 3 tables seated in it and the other table next to us asked to be reseated, regrettably we should have requested to do the same thing. We also had to wait 20 minutes despite making a reservation. We were hoping for a relaxing dinner where we could talk, it was our anniversry after all. The food and service were great, the manager apologized for the wait and offered a free appetizer, which was a very nice touch. We will definately be back but we won't allow them to seat us in the "private room" again, lesson learned."

"Tommy Bahama's has always been a favorite of ours. An anniversary special occasion place for us. One thing that really bothered us this time is the hostesses walk by with a marker about every 2 minutes to check progress of the tables. It felt like they were counting our bites each circle around the table! I promise you it was every two to three minutes on the patio! Kinda funny after a while but then not so much after dropping a few hundred."

"The cauliflower dish was not great, wish there had been other options. My husband was not at all happy with the fish selection. He said it was very bland. The prices were too high, you can't charge Perry's prices and serve Bennigans food. Lastly, the service was very slow, our waiter was more concerned about a large party that was due to arrive and spent most of his time setting that table and moving chairs around. We sat waiting for simple requests like ketchup and our bill."

"The service was great and so was the food. Always enjoy TB and you can count on at least two or three people making sure all is good, but without being intrusive. We'll go back, we always do. The tenderloin salad is fantastic. The quality of meat they put on that thing is prime and cooked to perfection and the portion is generous."
