"My friend and i had a wonderful experience at Dos Gringos as we always do. We went on Wednesday which is Media's night to move everything outside. We were seated immediately since we had made a reservation, despite a large crowd of people waiting to be seated ( who I assumed did not make a reservation). Our waitress was wonderful, attentive, helpful. The food was terrific. It was my friend's birthday and she thoroughly enjoyed herself."

"One of my favorite for dining under the stars. The food has a Caribbean influence and is high quality and creative. The owners are amazing as is Jen, the best waitress ever. It is BYOT and then you get to choose from a selection of margarita mixes. They do not rush you so it is a nice spot to hang out and drink margaritas with friends on a beautiful summer evening. Only draw back is the slant of the street...would prefer a flat street to be sitting on rather than a hill."

"The owner of this place told us as my three girlfriends and I were being seated that he needed our table and basically we need to eat and run (even though we had made reservations days earlier) After that- we proceeded to wait ONE HOUR for our dinner to be served which would have been fine if there wasn't a lecture about us having to be quick! The food is so-so and the owner basically ruined the vibe of our evening. I have lived in Media for 6 years now and have never been treated with such disrespect by a Media business owner- usually the service is great wherever you go- in fact that is something I always tell friends and family when they ask me to recommend the place- "you can't go wrong" Now- I'll say- go anywhere EXCEPT Dos Gringos!"

"Excellent food, great, friendly service! I had a shrimp special that was delicious and flavorful. My one friend had a delicious chicken mole that she could not stop raving about! Salsa rocked and so did the service. We were late, due to the fact that we could not find parking (Media - Dining under the stars - very busy!) We were still seated within 5 minutes."

"I had my birthday dinner here for Dining Under the Stars in Media. They were so accommodating it is unreal. Love the BYOB. They have pitchers of wonderful drink mixes there for you. We had strawberry Mojitos and Margaritas. both mixes were fabulous. Food was amazing. This was my second dinner there and everyone at the table was so happy with their dish. I have had lunch here as well before and it was great. Food is full of flavor and presently nicely. The owner manager is on hand to be sure all of your needs are met. Can't say enough great things."

"Dos Gringos is a great choice for Dining Under the Stars, offering shade for comfy dining on a hot night. The margarita choices were fun for the BYOT (tequila). I have been there a few times and have always been happy with my meal, had good service, and had fun. My only regret this last time is that I didn't order the ceviche."

"My husband and I decided to try Does Gringos for the first time for our Anniversary dinner. We are very laid back so we weren't looking for anything super private. The dining area is very small but it is so worth it for the incredible food. Their chef is amazing. Great presentation of the food and you want to finish every last bite. The music isn't too loud, the service is great and the homemade chips and salsa are delicious. They do have a few tables outside if you need a little more room."

"Was hoping for beter but the food was average. I am pretty sure the shrimp for my dish were previously frozen because they were soggy and tiny, certainly not the tiger shrimp i expected based on the description on the daily special. Having eaten in some great mexican places i guess maybe i have become spoiled but the flavors here were bland and not terribly exciting, unusual for mexican food which i associate with bold flavors. Wife's dish was just OK too."

"It's a nice little BYOT (Bring Your Own Tequila ... or beer or whatever you want) place. They'll give you a pitcher of good Margarita mix ($10.00) to add your tequila to and make a yummy drinks to go with your meal. The house made salsas were tasty though the chips were very basic.
The actual food was delicious well made and served quickly.
The place is small, so it can be a bit cramped and the noise can get loud as the night goes on."
