Pietro's Italian Restaurant
Welcome to Pietro’s of Lodi, a classic Italian restaurant that serves rich flavors and hearty portions at affordable prices. Since 1957 the proud family tradition for serving good food lives on with favorites like hand-tossed pizza, homemade ravioli, and authentic minestrone with homemade bread and broiled chicken with angel hair pasta. In addition, they offer delicious traditional dishes like eggplant lasagna, chicken florentine, and veal scaloppini. The menu is also complimented with Dover filet of sole, pancetta prawns and calamari steak. Their homemade desserts of cannoli, tiramisu and biscotti are made fresh daily. And the final family feel to the restaurant is their on-site herb and vegetable garden patio where one experiences the true fresh taste from the garden to the kitchen. It gives one the feel of a "meal with mama" on Sunday afternoon in Italy. Come enjoy the experience and meet the owners Jim and Annette Murdaca personally, as they meet and greet you at the door.

"When you drive by this restaurant and see it on a major street through the City of Lodi you think that it would be loud due to traffic and smelly due to exhaust fumes. Could not be farther from the truth. The interior is far better than what you see on the internet. It is open, airy and inviting. The outdoor space is an unexpected hideaway from the busy interior of the dining room. Quiet and intimate at each table. They have done a good job shading the seating out there too and with the water feature it is a wonderful place to dine. The salads were fresh and delicious. The ravioli were traditional and not overly done. This was a take chance lunch experience. When we left we decided it was a place we would come back to."

"What can I say about Pietro's? Definitely a neighborhood gem that needs to remain hidden - can't ever find parking! Love everything on the menu. The bread they serve before the meal is always fresh out of the oven and the garlic butter spread is wonderful. Great lemon drop and chocolate martinis. The chopped antipasti salad is great. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Jim and Annette have a wonderful place."

"Pietro's always makes me smile...constantly updating their look and atmosphere... beautiful inside and out... great place to eat,
the food is always fresh, and it is quite obvious that the owners are very meticulous about creating an Italian flair... the beautifully kept kitchen gardens outside, as well as a refrigerated glass enclosed cooling space with imported salami, smoked ham and other smoked goodies, direct from Italy...
With attention to detail combined with great service it is not a surprise, that this restaurant is always busy!
The food was a little slow, because it was a busy night (I think it was prom night)... but it was easy to bridge the time with delicious home baked bread and a large wine list... my favorite restaurant!"

"What a find! Pietro's has some of the best Italian food I've ever had. Delicious food made with fresh ingredients from their on site garden. From the moment you walk into Pietro's you feel like you're at a friend's for dinner. Everyone was very friendly and we had excellent service. I couldn't decide on what to have so ordered the pasta trio which came with lasagna, "Nettie's ravioli" and spaghetti with pesto. Absolutely delicious! Fresh bread was amazing; olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping but also comes with butter if that is your preference. Definitely worth the drive from Sacramento."

"We went here for my daughter's birthday. There were 8 of us. The service and food were very good. One person in our group was a vegetarian and asked about the ingredients in a couple of their dishes. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the contents of the dish and the sauce. Portions were very generous. We had young men in their late teens and early 20's who couldn't finish their meals."

"From entry to exit, you're the best of the best! On arrival, Greg (consistently) greets customers with a refreshingly upbeat attitude. In my view, upon entering a restaurant, first impression sets the tone and Greg meets customer expectations. Service is very good along w/ staffs attention personal hygiene & appearance. Menu offers excellent choices, food consistent and hot on arrival. Atmosphere fantastic! Noise level is high during peak times, but minor issue to most customers. It's noticed that Jimmy keeps an eye on the pulse of the restaurant and often pauses for a moment chatting with customers. I applaud the entire staff for their efforts making Pietro's Lodi's first choice in dining pleasure."

"We had a family gathering of ten people. The occasion was to celebrate a deceased brother's birthday. The waitress, Jessica, was very accomodating, seeing to all our needs, and being patient waiting for the late comers. "Lovely ambiance, good service, varied Italian menu. Many of their vegetables and herbs grown in their patio garden. the only problem is that their very popular , make a reservation. when I told them it was my wife's birthday, they brought her tiramisu with a candle as well as a gift bag that had a wine glass, chocolates and a personally messaged card. How thoughtful!"

"The service was very good, food good, but not the best veal I've ever had although the salad, bread and ravioli were very good and the other dinners were very good. Also, our drinks and wine was very good. I definitely would return.

"This place was fantastic! The food was amazing! You can tell that everything is freshly made there. Their fresh bread is so good. We had the prosciutto with melon which was delicious. I ordered the pasta trio with sausage and meatballs. It was to die for. My date ordered Penne al Pietro. It was penne pasta and had shrimp and mushrooms in an oil. All of the pasta was cooked perfectly and was extremely fresh. I also ordered an italian margarita and it was so good! I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The service was magnificent, the waitress was extremely friendly and always checking up on us. I only wish I saved some room for dessert! It's a little pricey, but well worth every penny. Highly recommended!"

"My favorite restaurant for date night hands down. There aren't too many places where the owner knows his guests on a first name basis. Jim always walks us to our table and treats us to a chef specialty appetizer. The waiters and waitresses are committed to the vision of the restaurant and know their regular customers by first name."

"We love Pietro's. The owners make an effort to make sure their customers are satisfied; they frequently walk around and stop and the tables to make sure everyone's happy. They are warm and friendly. And the food is fantastic... you can tell the ingredients are fresh. Five of us went to dinner and each and every one loved their entree."
