On the sand at the HB Pier, Sandy's offers a genuine Southern California coastal dining experience complete with dramatic beach & ocean views and cuisine inspired by the region. "First time at Sandy's restaurant, although I have been to a few of the others in the TS group. I spent over 30 in food service including 3 years in a breakfast / lunch concept. Your people were able to cook my eggs "sunny side up medium" perfectly. Can't ask for anything more then that. Thanks."

"I've enjoyed TS Restaurants for over 30 years! Tahoe/Maui/SoCal. Mother's Day in Huntington Beach; doesn't get any better with the Sandy's staff (Chris[Oahu} and Robert managing) ensured one of the top five restaurant meals I've ever enjoyed! The cheese plate featuring homegrown California cheeses with chutney was exquisite and perfectly balanced. Shrimp flatbread pizza was fired to perfection! Crispy with shrimp that tasted fresh-caught! Mom had lobster/seafood cocktail for an entree. It was of perfect size AND the sauce with heat made the flavor burst incredible! For me, the portobello/heirloom tomato stack was THE BEST EVER! Thank you to Chris, Robert and a special shout-out to Amy Heneghen for ensuring our experience was FIVE-STAR TS!"

"I took my mom here on Mother's Day for brunch and it was wonderful!! I had a reservation and we didnt have to wait at all and were seated right away! Our server came over for our drink orders and hurried back with them. We ordered our food and he offered us bread while we waited. Our food was there within in 15 min or so! Very quick service. A lady brought it out and even took the time to see if we needed anything else. Our waiter checked back on us and kept making sure our iced tea glasses were full. It was a really great place and we loved sitting on the patio where we watched everyone on bikes, walking, dogs etc. We will definitely be coming back and will definitely be going to Duke's (affiliated with Sandy's) in Hawaii in December."

"Mother's Day I don't recommend this. I was told when When we arrived we were told there was only a Mother's Day menu. The selection on the Mother's Day menu was horrible! The restaurant must have received a special buy on yams because they were offered with most of the items! My food came with them and they were so tasteless I sent my order back and got a plain chicken salad! (Which wasn't even on the menu) and arrived 30 mins after everyone at my table was finished with their food. My mom ordered scallops (and yams) and did not enjoy the taste either. My son (3) ordered a kids cheese pizza and that even had a bad taste! I'm hoping this is not the way the restaurant normally is because it looks like a nice place to eat on the beach!"

"Sandy's Bar and Grill really know how to make a Mommy of 3 special. Upon exiting the car, I recd a flower for Mother's Day from valet. After being seated, my family of 5 were waited on very well. I had the Eggs Benedict and loved it! The mixed drinks were very good too! I would definitely recommend having any meal at Sandy's Beach Grill."

"Sandy's is a great place if you want to eat "on" the beach in Huntington Beach, but don't expect a lot of food for the price. The food isn't cheap, and quite honestly, you're better off eating appetizers than the main courses as they are bigger servings. The Cheviche was delicious!!"

"I don't know where to begin! From the moment we walked in, our party of 12 was treated warmly. We were celebrating a group 40th birthday (all 12 of us turn 40 in 2013) and we were being a bit loud. We were seated at a spacious table in a corner; the corner was actually 2 walls of windows so we had a great view too. Our waiter was funny, personable, attentive, knowledgable and totally understood our needs without hovering. The food was wonderful; I had the sea bass and friends seated near me had either the barramundi, tomato and portabello mushroom entree or the tofu wraps; everyone raved about their meals. The wine list is decent and the desserts were decedent!! I would absolutely recommend Sandy's!!"

"The food was very good but the we hardly saw our waiter. I ordered the shrimp flatbread that was just the right amount of food for the price. The mixed grill is kind of a rip off though. Overall the experience was nice and I would defiantly go there again. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was friendly. Also the noise level is well controlled so you don't have to yell to be heard."

"Sandy's is a great resturant, especially on the outdoor patio. Right on the bike path, you can watch all the people and the volleyball games played while you dine. Just enough air to give you that open feeling, but the staff keeps the windows monitored so you are not chasing your napkin down the restaurant. Great food, properly cooked, and brought to your table hot and on time. Combined with a cold beer or your favorite beverage, a wonderful dining experience. When we have new people in town, Sandy's is always the first restaurant we take them to."

"My friends and I ate at Sandy's before we attended our Prom. It started out rough since we were a party of 12, but they only set up a table for 10. Once they fixed the table, we waited a long time for a waiter to take our orders. However, once a waiter came with our drinks and the bread, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food-wise, it was awesome! I ordered the New York Steak while my friends ordered an array of flatbreads, ribs, and fish and chips. We all loved our meals and even took our leftovers to Prom. Overall, though it was rough at the beginning, we all had a great dinner."

"I like Sandy's, but it was a bad choice for Easter Brunch. When I called to confirm the reservation, I was told we would be on the patio. My husband and I wanted a nice brunch and to look at the ocean and have a bit of serenity. They sat us inside, which is lovely, but is almost all bar. It was so loud, I couldn't have a conversation with my husband. It is a place to go if you want a loud busy bar on the beach. It is pricy for the menu but the food is good. Service was good, just total bar atmosphere. If you are looking for a great dining experience, this is not it. It is all about cocktails and bar. Sorry, just talking truth here."

"An excellent meal from beginning to end. My wife and I had the layered seafood cocktail and the ahi poke. Both we excellent. Our entrees were just as fabulous and ended with the 3 flavors of ice cream dessert. A repeat trip is in the near future. :-)"

"After living at Lake Tahoe for years and traveling frequently to Maui, I've grown accustomed to being served the finest food in the finest atmosphere by the finest service staff of the TS Restaurant Group - both at Sunnyside, West Shore, Lake Tahoe and Kimo's in Lahaina. At Sandy's the hostess was gracious and personable. The wait staff was aloof and wasn't enrolled in 5 star service. The barramundi was blah (old fish?) and the steak flat bread was terribly overdone, steak was rubbery and there was no flavor. Dessert was not an option."

"It is a great location - on the beach. I had some out of town guest and I thought they would enjoy sitting on the beach sipping a mimosa. It is a great location, clean, nice atmosphere. The food was good. But the service was very very very slow - You didn't see any servers or busboys for a long time. The food took long to come out, drink refills were non existent and we sat with empty plates and glasses for 20 minutes waiting for the check."
