"My sandwich (Roast Turkey) came cold. She said "roast" refered to the style and not the temperature. My friend's Buffalo Chicken Salad didn't have much in the way of ingredients. The Muni in Wayzata has a much better Buffalo Chicken Salad.
Service was fine - ambience fine too - just think the food could be better."

"Jimmy's-superior service and menu selection! Issue-space allotted for seating. We were seated in front of a large party and when they went to leave they were trapped. Mother slid her chair to the side while this party tried to exit with elderly family members. Another table had people stand so customers could exit the main isle. I do understand the need to fill a restaurant to capacity, but infringing on your customer's space (not to mention service personnel) is extremely annoying. Let's try to remember there are plenty of people who attend holiday gatherings that are elderly and have wheelchairs/walkers/canes and/or need assistance. Please allow room and respect all your customers' need for space to enjoy their experience."

"I've been to Jimmy's Food and Cocktails two times now. Both times I was in town on a business trip. The food is terrific, and I was pleasantly surprised to find they had a menu dedicated to their Gluten free foods. Wonderful bar staff, who are attentive and on top of things. The generous pours certainly enhance the experience."

"I am a frequent guest at Jimmy's in Minnetonka, but will be limiting my future visits. I am tired of the noise level. I had asked to be seated in the back room, but that was not available on the date of our reservation. I asked for a bread basket when we ordered; it came towards the end of the meal. Beverages were not refreshed on a timely basis. Three different people provided service to the table. Not a relaxing experience at all."

"Love Jimmy's but service was very slow on a recent Saturday night. It was busy but not overly so. No apology from our waitress or the manager. We waited a very long time for our cocktails which were ordered well before the meal. Cocktails finally arrived when the first course was all but finished. Not the best night in terms of service as our party waited far too long for drinks and then waited too long for food as well. This was not our usual Jimmy's experience and we are frequent diners."

"We gathered for a family graduation party and the restaurant happened to be unusually busy with prom groups. I could tell the staff was working extra hard to make sure everything ran smoothly - and it did. Our drinks and food came out fresh and on-time. We did not feel rushed and our server even helped us with a small cake we brought in for the occasion. We left a good tip - they earned it. We had to deal with a higher noise level from the prom goers, but they were well mannered and added an interesting little twist to the experience.
We will definitely go back again. Our tab for 2-rounds of drinks and steak dinners for 7 was $328. Very fair for the quality and service."

"I was trying some gluten free food, Not a great selection. Ended up having a hamburger the waitress said the Kobe was the best. It came out very well done so not great. It came on a piece of gluten free bread not a GF bun, which disenegrated in my hand. I ordered the fries with it, nothing to rave about. The coleslaw they had was just plain awful. I had my spouse taste it and he agreed something wrong there. He had a seafood pasta which he said was very good.
I mentioned a few things to the waitress about my meal, she seemed like she could have cared less. I did get her to give me a few extra pickles since the coleslaw was bad she did say no else has complained about it, she did however take it off my bill."

"This was our first visit to Jimmy's. We sat in one of the booths close to the bar and found the noise level too much to hold a conversation with anyone not seated right next to you. Two of us ordered the Stuffed Walleye and found it somewhat bland. Another party at our table ordered the crabcakes, but was delivered the walleye. The staff (very friendly and attentive) corrected this fairly quickly. The crabcakes did not live up to the servers description (but we are very hard to please when it comes to crabcakes!). Our fourth diner ordered pasta with shrimp and really enjoyed it. It's possible that what we ordered did not play to Jimmy's strenghts. Maybe we will try another time?"

"Went there to celebrate my friend's and my birthdays. While the food was really very good, the service was what I will remember. The waitress (whose name, sadly, I didn't get) was friendly, informative and fun. Our plan was to be there for a good long time, and she was great about not rushing us. Many times that is a problem: the restaurant wants you in and out so they can serve more people. This was a Sunday evening, so it was pretty quiet, but it was still great to know that our waitress understood OUR plan for the evening, and went along with it."

"The food is B or B+ but it was not HOT. Seemed like it sat around for 5 minutes or so before it was served. Restaurant food must be HOT. I can eat lukewarm food at home. Also, I don't understand why restaurants can't play nice dining music. All you hear is a beat."

"We took a grandson (9 yo) who had just discovered steak and potatoes. So, he ordered the small filet mignon. It was prefect and he ate as much as a 9 year-old can and took the rest home. The hot fudge ice cream sundae was a treat and the whole experience for us was wonderful"

"A group of six of us took advantage of their Restaurant Week menu, which was a great value and selection. Our table was available early and our server was very accomodating and helpful with the menu. Each of our entrees were tasted wonderful and would definitely go back to Jimmy's."
