DohYO showcases Chef Richard Sandoval's signature Latin Asian cuisine. The dynamic concept caters to social diners with a menu of small plates served at long, communal tables that literally rise out of the floor thanks to a patented hydraulic system. After dinner the tables lower once again, creating an impromptu performance space.
"Really enjoyed our experience at this lovely restaurant. The food was excellent. Although it was not busy, the waiter did not take time to be friendly."

"Overall this seems like an interestingly modern and fun place. A glitch in the odering system made service slower than usual, which made the experience for pre-theater dining not good, but food did arrive and was good - would give it a second chance at some other time."

"The drink list is too limited. The small bites don't give you enough food for the money. We were a table of four and we could only get a few bites every 15 minutes. Don't come to this brunch hungry."

"Had a ton of fun at DohYO. Very energetic and not for someone that wants a relaxed brunch atmosphere. The service was great and everyone was very friendly!"

"Place was in an ownership transition so certain menu items and most beers were unavailable (only Amstel). Waiter didn't know and didn't figure out which tequila was in the margarita. Food was fine - tuna rolls great, cooked salmon average and sitting on a soggy corn cake, seaweed salad crispy with nice cilantro flavors but a bit salty."

"This was recommended through a newspaper article in Australia. Unfortunately it didn't live up to the great review. Food was ordinary and the first course was cold (cold eggs are never nice). Whilst the atmosphere was fun, the staff's attitude was not. It's never pleasant to attend somewhere when the staff think they are more important than the customers."

"This place has gone downhill. The "free flowing" brunch has been cut to four drink options and some of the small plates have disappeared from the menu. Still not a bad for the price, but the deal breaker is the karaoke that takes over the entire restaurant. A few bad singers and a terrible sound system totally ruined brunch and made it impossible to hear people across the table. On top of that, the karaoke singers roam from table to table during their performance."

"Reviewed DohYo's menu online. Was interesting and made us want to have dinner there. When we arrived we found out they no longer offer a dinner menu only a Tapas menu which was very, very limited. They should have amended their website to reflex this. We were very disappointed."

"I've dined at DohYO at Yotel several times now and each time I take a different group, they all love the place. Whether we go for Sunday brunch, which is always a hoot with the staff shows, party atmosphere and fun House music, or hanging with colleagues after work when it's a bit more quiet, or hanging out on the outdoor terrace, I'm never disappointed. There's a variety of flavorful topas dishes to satisfy us all (chicken, tofu, fish, sushi, etc.) but each group that's gone has loved the seaweed salad. The tropical drinks are delicious as well. I always look forward to my next visit."

"We've been here many times and it's always been fun. This was unfortunate. We arrived only to be ushered to another area that looked like a cafeteria. They said there was a private party--which they should have said when we booked. They were refusing to give us one of the private glassed-in rooms because there were 2 of us. We had to argue back and forth that we had a show to go to and wouldn't stay long. And then we invited a woman who was alone to join us and they relented. Shame on them. They should have bent over backwards to accommodate us rather than treat us like we were kids, trying to crash the party."

"This is my second time dining here and the food was just as good as the first time. I thoroughly enjoy the spicy tuna roll and the chicken and shrimp fried rice was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend eating here."

"I came here on a Tuesday night 7pm. The hotel is cool and the indoor restaurant space is huge. Only about 10% of the tables were full, pretty dead. I felt like I was eating in a cafeteria or a hotel restaurant (which is it, to be fair). The server was super friendly and helpful and the food was better than average. The menu provides a nice variety of tapas and the cocktail I ordered was delicious! We ordered the chicken curry, fish tacos, empanadas and crab dumplings and really enjoyed each dish. Food was very good. Ambiance - something different - not very New York, which was fine because all I wanted to do, is catch up with an old friend."
