Live crawfish are available only during April-June, although crawtail are available for many dishes all year long.
"While not the very best I have ever had, the catfish, both fried and blackened versions, were very good. Huge and delicious hushpuppies! Large entree portions. Good selection of beers, both on tap and in bottles."

"A great place to go to taste some fine Cajun cooking. I recommend their Shrimp Sunny - a combination of blackened catfish, crabmeat and topped with crawfish etouffee and served with some blackened shrimp. Also, their homemade deserts are unbelievable if you still have room for them after the sumptuous meals. Reservations are a must and be patient as the place is busy on the weekends and the wait staff is overwhelmed."

"We really enjoyed the music during dinner. Food portions are impressive. Menu is extensive. We wer glad we made reservations through Open Table or we wouldn't have gotten a table. It was packed on Friday night."

"we had a blast with our server and the food was excellent...the place was hopping so delays were expected and did not interfere with our enjoyment of the evening...cannot wait to come back and try more menu items..."

"Prudomme's Lost Cajun Kitchen was the perfect place to celebrate my husband's birthday. He was thrilled with the choice, loved the food and the beer selection. the only "glitch" if you want to call it that, was that when we arrived, we were told that another party with the same last name had called to cancel their Open Table reservation and gave the time I had booked instead of theirs. It worked out in the end, but were told this kind of thing had happened twice in 2 weeks."

"First time back to Prudhomme's in several years (a busy schedule keeps me away!) but the food and service was as good as I remember it and I look forward to returning in the not too distant future! Cajun Whoopie Pies and Swampii can't be beat!"

"There wa a mix up with our reservation, so we sat int ehbar area, which wa OK. The service was a bit slow, but it seemed to be a kitchen issue, not a waitress issue. The food was very good."

"Visited Prudhomme's for Birthday dinner. Felt like I was a part of the family. Made my party feel welcome and provided great service. So many options on the menu, I had trouble deciding. Well worth the trip for Cajun Cuisine. Looking forward to my next visit."

"Over all everything was nice and I'd like to go back again. The food was a tad spicey for me, but I was at a cajun restaurant. Just felt the food took over the taste. The hush puppies were great! The best I ever hard. The fried catfish was missing some flavor."

"Very disappointing, especially after all of the good things I had heard about the place. Food was lukewarm and bland and very expensive for the serving size. The only thing that was good and pleasantly surprising was the soup, Cajun chicken and rice. Carrot cake was an extremely small serving size was dry and nearly burnt on the bottom and didn't even taste like carrots. I tried my husbands bread pudding which was excellent."

"A bit too noisy for my liking as we were seated next to the bar & there was live entertainment there that night. Dessert was different from the one listed on the advertised Valentines Day special menu that the restaurant e-mailed. Also dessert special was served as one dessert for two people but it was only a single portion. I felt it was also quite ghetto that the dessert was served on a paper plate. Very disappointing end to an otherwise excellent Valentines Day meal. I enjoyed this restaurant MUCH more when we have in the past gone there for crawdads or gator on a night when there isn't any live "entertainment". The food is great but the place is much too small to have live entertainment without it being too loud & annoying."
