"In Lawrence, Kansas, there are no other places that compare to the TEN.
From the warm reception by servers, tantalizing dining options, and overall atmosphere, the TEN at the Eldridge is a fine choice to take others for a formal meal. It's downtown location is close to all the action, yet feels different from any other dining location on Mass St.
We enjoyed our meal thoroughly and would recommend anyone to take their company to TEN for a special meal!"

"We stayed at the Eldridge and decided to eat at the hotel. We ate at 10 two nights. A wonderful experience where you could hear each other and relish a special occasion such as graduating from KU! Go Jayhawks!!"

"For the price of the brunch, I figured it would have had a better spread than what was available.
The service staff was great. There is a lot of history in the Eldridge Hotel.
I just thought for the $140 for 4 people to eat brunch with no alcohol was a little on the high side.
Probably would go someplace else for Mother's Day next year.
The food just wasn't enough to bring me back."

"Ladies dinner out was wonderful at the Ten. Just what was needed after a long afternoon of shopping. Service was terrific, food was great, and you could actually carry on a conversation without shouting. I loved the ambience; it was a great experience."

"Nice place for Sunday brunch. Lawrence is a college town so it's a nice place for visiting parents to go out to eat with their student. The ability to make reservations makes it even nicer as getting into some of the other local restaurants without a long wait is challenging. Thanks Open Table!"

"Very happy with all details of the restaurant with only one exception. As the evening started it was quiet and very easy to carry on a conversation but toward the end of dinner a younger crowd came in and the noise level went up to lets say a bad basketball game. This isn't just a problem of 10 but of most places to dine anymore. A quiet atmosphere where 2 people can enjoy themselves is almost non existent. Just the way of today's world where people don't respect others privacy and for that matter never take the time to dress up and make things special. Enough rambling, we enjoyed our night at 10 and definitely would recommend it to others."

"The day after Easter, they were out of many of their main dishes. We had settled on those dishes and were disconcerted to learn they were not available. Advance notice would have worked better. However, our "substitutes" were excellent."

"Was disappointing this visit. We'd made a seating request when we made the reservation, and it had not been honored. I would understand when the restaurant was busy, but there were only 3 other tables there when we arrived. The service was good, but the food seemed rather bland -- this was the first time I'd been here for lunch in quite some time, and perhaps I'm not familiar with the better tasting lunch selections."
