"We were disappointed here. The menu was small and though I liked my fish dinner, my hubby didn't like his meal at all. He's usually not very fussy but this place was packed with a younger crowd who were noisy. I guess I wouldn't seek this place out again. There are a lot of places to pick from in Yakima!"

"Appeared on line to be a upscale restaurant but was put in the corner no view and right next to two couples who were very loud.

"We had never beet to T. Maccarone's before and took some friends based upon a recommendation from the owner of the B&B we were staying at. Wonderful/fun service and attention the entire meal. Everything (soup, appetizer, entree) was absolutely wonderful. In fact we all had separate entrees and all four of us raved about the food. Delicious and great presentations. More than enough too. Right then and there we decided to bring back another couple on Sunday night. Same results with different entrees. We can't wait to return and will make reservations before heading back. That's important, especially on a big weekend like Spring Wine Release."

My duck was good but not nearly as good as I had a week before in another town. The confit part was overcooked and stringy; the hoisen-glazed seared breast was good but not nearly as good as I had elsewhere a week before. The smoked pork belly was merely cubes of pork fat that were essentially inedible; some was tough, chewy, and not appetizing - left most of that part on my plate.
My wife's scallops was apparently good but not great.
I can't speak for our friends but they didn't seem enthusiastic; they were more so the previous night in another Walla Walla restaurant.
The antipasto was moderately good - the grapes were great, the cheeses good but minimal in amount."

"Out of many fine dining experiences in Walla Walla, T. Mac's is my favorite. The beef carpacchio is second to none and the best I've had since I was in Milan...fresh tender beef with greens drizzled with truffle oil...fantastic. pastas are all al dente and full of fresh wonderful flavors."

"I've dined at T. Mac's on 3 occasions, all meals were wonderful. Drinks good too! I like the ambiance: It's small but not tiny, cozy but not tight, dimly light but not dark. It's a little loud for me, but I have a significant hearing loss and wear hearing aides and despite the high quality of my aides, noise can be difficult to filter out. Most people will find the noise level to be lively, but not too loud.
Also, unlike another high quality restaurant in town, T Mac's was accommodating to the needs of those in the group with Celiac disease. They allowed us to bring in a bottle of gluten free beer, at no extra charge, since it was not something they had available at the restaurant."

"We've eaten here during past visits, but this time just wasn't up to par. Food arrived differently than described on the menu, servers seemed overwhelmed (and were actually running from time to time), and the noise level where we were seated was just awful. We were in a nook to the side of the bar, and the bar was so noisy that we could barely hear each other across the table. If we return, we will definitely ask to be seated somewhere else."
