Sticky Rice - Baltimore
With its charming atmosphere and bad attitude you won"t find anything quite like it. Our specialty is our fresh sushi bar. With rolls like g.i.jane, shiitake happens and Godzirra, how could you go wrong? Our huge bowls of noodles will satisfy big and small. Sandwiches, large salads, and a selection of other entrees round out the menu. We also feature a kids menu! Don"t forget the (soon to be famous) bucket of tater tots with our special tot sauce. Sticky Rice, established last century has been rolling on and on. Sticky Rice serves up an unusual mix of American, Pan-Asian entrees in a friendly, inexpensive and inviting atmosphere. Spring rolls, potstickers, sushi, noodles and edamame (steamed soy beans) are simple and standard. Lots of choices for vegans and vegetarians!

"I don't understand the connection between sushi and tater tots, but it worked and well. The beer selection was really good, the menu was very expansive and the atmosphere was pretty cool. The place was a little bit loud, but that made it seem more lively, plus it was a Friday night. I went for an anniversary, but it also seemed like a great place to have dinner and drinks with friends, what with Sake-bombs and gongs. I definitely would recommend this place."

"We just had a selection of appetizers, but everything was great. The crispy tofu bites are surprisingly great. The specialty drinks were all excellent. The waitress working the back room on a Friday night was great, very accommodating to the loud parties."

"Delicious food, so many great options. The bar is fully stocked with a large variety of beers, liquors and they have their own cocktails on the menu. Delicious food, great drinks, friendly staff and overall wonderful bar to eat at. The only issue we had was the neighboring outside table was beyond loud and a bit obnoxious the their drunkenness and topics of conversation.
Great spot to have asian bistro style foods!"

"Hot and HIP ! Not a blue blazer kindda place, relaxed, fun, energetic- brought me back to Greenwich Village college days. Ate at Blue Moon and the morning and saw Sticky Rice across the street, my niece goes to Towson State and we were meeting for dinner, PERFECT choice, LOVED it....even though I was the senior citizen in the place at 45 !"

"Love this place, but oh, the bad service that night.... We waited about 10 minutes from the time we were seated until a server even walked near us. We only saw her again when she brought our food and then the bill. It was not their best night. Food was good, as always, but they seemed to be short staffed or... something..."

"We've gone to sticky rice about five times and each time we return we are less satisfied. What keeps us coming back are the livingsocial deals, but otherwise the food is pretty avereage. The fish used in the sushi is not the best and there are better sushi restaurants in Baltimore, such as Joss. Some of the unique items like the sticky balls are interesting and delicious, but are fairly expensive for the portion size. This past trip we tried getting sandwiches and were pretty disappointed. The teryiaki chicken sandwich was very plain and could easily be reproduced at home. The sandwich plates included delicious tater-tots but would benefit from some greens on the side to make a more well-rounded meal."

"We had such a great experience at Sticky Rice! All of their food is incredible, and they have plenty of delicious vegetarian options (that can't be found at other sushi restaurants). Our waiter was very friendly and so helpful, he really helped make the experience wonderful! We will definitely be coming back!"

"went for lunch, place not busy, service was long comming considering they were not busy, wife/daughter went in while i parked, went in and server was texting on phone, food service was ok, food was good considering it is really a bar scene, decor was less the old, paint chipping, peeling, had to ask for ketchup for fries, daughters birthday drink was ok, wife did not like either drink, had to ask twice to have music turned down so we could speak to each other, daughter vegetarian like her food, wifes was spicy hot but not warned ahead of time, i had a burger, ordered medium and came out done passed medium, meat if not for sauce would not have had any taste, daughter said she 'might' go back but not wife and me"

"The restaurant was cozy but had enough space that it didn't feel crowded. Despite having several servers for the front area, finding a server at any given time was tough. The appetizers were delicious (sweet potato tots especially). The Billy Goat Gruff (yellowfish around goat cheese) was a poor choice, and expensive for the quantity of food provided. The sushi was not quite bland, but certainly did not stand out, especially the specials."

music which is very energetic was turned way up. Also they have large flat screen TV's to distract your attention from your
eating and eating partner to the cute cat videos that were playing on the TV's. I love cats so I was much more interested in
watching the little kitties than concentrating on my food. I would probably not recommend this as an eating place but maybe
as a bar. And I would rather watch the cat videos or anything else at home."

"We LOVE Sticky Rice!
Our server today was super accommodating...being a holiday, it was quite busy for a late Monday lunch and she got a table cleared and ready for us quickly. My son and I were in a bit of a hurry for our art opening that evening and she saw to it that we got our food quickly and settled the check for us as well. Thanks for making the first part of our day as good as the second half!"

"My husband's and my overall experience at Sticky Rice was good, although it started off on the wrong foot. We arrived for our 7:45 reservation and were asked if we wanted to sit at the bar or at a table. We requested a table. We were then told it would be a couple of minutes so we stood at the bar and ordered a drink. We ended up waiting over a half an hour for a table, despite the fact that we had a reservation and several clean and bus-ed tables for two were open the entire time. The bar area was packed and because there was no good place for us to stand during our half hour wait, we constantly had to move out of the way for the servers and bartenders to get by. Our server and the food were great once we were seated."
