"I found this restaurant when I returned to my alma mater for a reunion. In a college town overrun with franchises and bad food chains, this place was a gem. A must do if you are looking for exceptional food ... Or even descent food while visiting the University of Oklahoma."

"This is the best place in Norman to celebrate a special occasion, enjoy an intimate dinner for tow, or just go to have an amazing meal, with great wine, and relax. When in this restaurant you really feel like you're somewhere else in the country rather than Norman, Oklahoma! It's truly an escape from everything because the ambiance is so special and elegant. It's our "go to" for anytime and every reason for dining out!"

"We came to Benvenuti's from Dallas on a recomdation from a friend and I must sat that the food is better than any Dallas Italian resturant I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. This is something I would expect to find in NYC, the quality of ingredients, flavors of dishes, and unique additions. I had the opportunity to meet Chef Anthony, and he is a truly gifted at his craft. Take it from me a guy who has dined at all the best, this is one to see!"

"The lighting and atmosphere really set the mood for my date. Since it was a first date I wanted everything to be romantic, and I was not let down. The food was amazing and so flavorful. The wine was impressive as well. One unique options the menu offers is that every month features several specials prepared by the chef, along with his recommendation for a wine that goes well with the meal. It was a wonderful experience overall!!"

"We went to Benvenuti's for the first time and I must say we were blown away! The food is so amazing from start to finish its was a first class experience. My daughter had the black cod, husband the lamb rack, son a pizza, while I had a bowl of the best gnocchi I've ever had. "I've been to Benvenuti's many times, and the food is always excellent. Usually the service is more attentive and responsive than it was this time, but it appeared that it was a very busy night and we were tucked in a far corner that was entirely too dark. The biggest issue was the noise - we were a group of three and I could barely hear my guests across the table. I spent the dinner with my hand cupped around my ear trying to hear them. Small groups should not be seated in the back room where the noise from nearby larger tables overwhelms the room. Finally, the portion sizes are very inconsistent; one pasta dish is fine for a meal while another was more of a small plate, so much so that my guest ordered a second serving!"

"The Caesar salad is the best in town. The bread was great. I had the eggplant-spinach ravioli. It was extremely salty, and while I'm aware that eggplant can be slimy, the dish was very slimy. "First trip here. Really good Italian seems to be hard to find in OKC area for some reason. While I wouldnt call Ben's the best, it's probably now my favorite over Rococo and Sophabellas. What I liked, the restaurant as a whole, warm, cozy, and friendly. Was greeted immediately, table was ready earlier than our reservation. Good bar to wait at if needed. Try a Moscow Mule! I liked the pasta and meatballs, and the chocolate pie for desert. Wasn't a fan of the Chicken Marsala, was a bit dry. And the truffle fries while good, are really just fries, I would do a different appetizer next time. Service was outstanding up until I paid. After that felt a bit abandoned, which is why only 3 stars. Noise 6-8 on Fri busy, after 8 moderate."

"I was very excited to celebrate my birthday here. We had a reservation for 20, when we got there we ended up having to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. Service seemed very slow, not up to par in comparison to our other visits. Half of our table got bread, and the other half had to wait 20 minutes for their bread. Our food took a very long time to come out as well, and I had to ask for refills. Maybe it was just because our party was so big. As always the food was delicious, and a little slow service won't stop me from going back. Just may not book my next party there. :)"

"This restaurant has been on my to-visit list for quite a while. The wait was worth it. Yes, it was Italian but at the opposite scale of Spaghetti Factory. It was very high-end food, ambience and service. It was the perfect place to dine and then walk next door to the small downtown theater for a live play. "I brought a date to Benvenuti's for a special Valentine's Day celebration. The food and service was excellent! I could not have asked for more. The waiter was extremely helpful, and he made great suggestions regarding the menu. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone."

"Our waitress was wonderful, attentive (but not overly so) and very knowledgeable. The Risotto Arancini suffered from way, way too much salt, but the caprese was exceptional, with nice ripe tomatoes, and a generous serving of truly outstanding housemade burrata cheese that was tender, mild and milky. That alone was worth the visit. The accompanying bread and salads were very tasty.
My husband had Pig and Scallops. The pork belly was delicious and perfectly cooked, but the scallops were bland and mushy. My Veal Ravioli was skimpy on the filling and even more overly salted than the risotto, but we finished with a Creme Brulee that was as perfect as it could be. Overall, a decent experience with a few disappointing dishes thrown in."

"Any service issues had always been overshadowed by the exceptional food, but Saturday night was a disaster. There was a concert in the area that made parking a problem. Our table was in the middle of traffic, and it was very noisy. The waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu, messed up our order and ran someone else's ticket on our credit card. To make matters worse, the food was not as good as in the past. We will return to give the food another chance, but it will be awhile before we go back."

"Excellent food and service, with all-around attention to detail by the staff. Out waiter for the evening was not only knowledgeable and attentive, but high-energy and driven to make sure our experience was top-rate. The Truffle Fries are an excellent way to start your meal, with any of the entrees being excellently prepared and perfectly portioned. My wife took in the Lobster Ravioli and I partook of the Filetto Rosso - both excellent meals.
Associated wine flights were fantastic and also well presented!
Bravo!"

"I went here with some family that was in town and everything was delicious. The food and wine were both delicious. They were out of the wine I ordered, but our server was able to help me find something similar and it was delicious.
