Goldfish restaurant is located by Perimeter Mall on Ashford Dunwoody Road. Opened in the summer of 2000. The menu is a combination of pristine seafood, sushi and steaks. They feature the freshest fish from around the world. The interior boasts huge ceiling height and a massive oversized mural from Leigh Smith Cathedral. Housing a 600 gallon salt water aquarium with beautiful sea creatures. Live entertainment nightly makes goldfish one of Atlanta's favorite places to meet for a fabulous cocktail and enjoy a first class dining experience! Our specialties include fresh Chilean Sea Bass prepared Hong Kong Style or one of our Chef's Specials that change daily. EVERY DAY from 4:30- 6:00 pm we offer $5 Fresh Catch of the Day and 1/2 Price 8 oz Filet Mignon and N.Y Strip Steaks. Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are always welcome. Whether you are in the mood for seafood, sushi or steak- Goldfish will exceed your dining desires from start to finish.

"This restaurant has been one of my favorites for a very long time and usually I have nothing but high praise for everything about it. I was a bit put off by the rushed service this time, however, and as the restaurant wasn't full, I couldn't understand why the servers were in such a rush to clear our table that twice they tried to take my plate when I wasn't finished!

"This place was great -- except, it was WAY TOO NOISY. I was celebrating an education milestone of my sister's with her husband and daughters and our mom, and we had to almost shout to hear at each other across the table to be heard. If it wasn't for the noise, it would have been fabulous."

"I have only dined here a few times, but the quality of the food has most definitely gone downhill as well as the presentation. I ordered 100 worth of sushi/sashimi and it all come on a single plate. "Put my parents in the Hotel Ravinia for their 30th anniversary. I initially was going to take them to La Grotta but this was all a surprise and did want to keep them hostage in the hotel. Goldfish had good reviews and claimed they had live music each night. I put in the notes for Opentable it was their anniversary and that I wanted a desert with "Congratulations" brought out at desert. I also waitress the reason we were there but did not have the opportunity to confirm the desert or ask. Needless to say she brought out the desert menu and we just picked on to share which she did not even comp. Basically, the experience detracted from the event and wish I would have taken the few hundred dollars I spend elsewhere. Just poor hospitality."

"We have had some great experiences here but this was not one of them. We had to ask for refills, food came out wrong, asked for jalapeno grits- didn't get them, asked for oscar style on steak - didnt get but after re-request brought out as separate and it was just not good- poor quality crab meat- not Jumbo Lump. Hollandaise was poor at best. The Air conditioning kept coming on right above our table and would freeze out my Fiance repeatedly, we asked the managers on three separate occasions to fix- first time they did fix it- but after that they did not- had to rush out at end of dinner while dessert was being brought as we were too Cold"

"Having dined at Prime we wanted to try another restaurant as a "Friend of Toms". Goldfish did not dissapoint. I would say however, it is better for a younger crowd as the energy level/nosie was at a level it would be hard to enjoy polite conversation. the food however and the service was excellent. Valet Parking in front of the restaurant was a godsend as it was a very raw night and a member of our party was a bit frail and could not have made the trek from general parking."

"We are long time customers and it is sad to see it go down hill. Front staff were terrible and non accommodating. We had a 7 pm reservation and requested a booth but upon arrival we were told no. There were plently of booths throughout our dining experience. It seems gold fisk keeps these on lock down so they can get the over flow from the next door cheesecake factory. food was subpar. Avoid this Mall restaurant. And avoid the greeters who frankly could care less about your dining experience. It seems like being friends of Tom is a bad choice."

"I went for lunch to enjoy the 50% off deal while blogging about my experience. It was great. The service was great and the food was great. I was greeted and addressed by my fist name and I had multiple waiters and managers at my table to make sure that I was taken care of. My gem of the day was the whole sizzling catfish. It is 2.5-3 lbs with the head on. Fried and served on a bed of shredded beets, topped with fresh tomatoes, scallions and ginger, served with a sweet ponzu sauce on the side. It was great!"

"Have been a fan of Tom C's restaurants for some time but never made it to Goldfish...after eating there on 2/28 (a night where "Friends of Tom's received 50% all food items) I know I will be back. My bride and I went to celebrate a job offer and since the food was 'on sale' no brainer. The good: Wife got filet - perfectly cooked, tender enough to cut with a fork, everything was perfect. I ordered mussels first, also very good (although I like Kurts better) and a scallop wrapped in bacon entree which was excellent (with a wonderful presentation). The not as good: wife's broccoli cooked perfectly but under seasoned - I would have expected more. My scallop dish had a potato pancake at the bottom that was soggy. Server was good not great"

"Used to travel to Atlanta every couple months and would always eat here when in town at least once or twice during a trip- now that I am retired and we have driven to Florida the last two years always stop on the way home for dinner.
Great sushi and the staff is wonderful."

"The food was good, but the service was on par with Applebee's or some other low end chain. In the server's defense, I think this was more of a management issue than his own. We were a party of 6, and then they also gave him a super needy party of 10 that was an engagement party. Add that to his other table, and he simply couldn't keep up.
Overall I probably won't be back. There are too many restaurants in this price point and in the area to roll the dice here again. First impressions matter, and the food can't overcome the poor service."
