Authentic gourmet Greek dining in a fine casual environment. Come in and dine on mezedakia (appetizers) or enjoy one of many great selections from the menu. The majority of the dishes are made from family recipes while others take a modern Greek twist. Aristo's mother, Ekaterini, makes all of the homemade confections. Enjoy the largest selection of Greek wines in the state.
"A good relaxing greek meal. The small plates were excellent, especially the hummus. The chicken dish scored very well as did the halibut. Very tasty."

"I absolutely loved everything about Aristo's. We brought my sister there for her 21st birthday and she was thrilled. The food was amazing and perfectly cooked, the staff was attentive and really tried to make our experience top-notch, and the wine list was great and had something to pair with any food. My one complaint is that it began to rain, and so a family came to sit next to us and they had brought their dog. I don't feel that pets have any place in restaurants, let alone one with the caliber of Aristo's."

"First we made reservations and it was easy and they even seated us a little early(mid-week). We had great service and great food. The hummus sampler was loved by all at the table. We purchased a few different large orders and then shared them around. They brought us extra plates to do this. This I feel is unique in a restaurant, they usually get upset if you don't order one entrée per person. Second, Wow! That was my first thought as I tasted the lamb shank. I don't get lamb that often as not many people can cook it well, but it was recommended by a friend who had been before. It was fantastic. Juicy and tender, like nothing I have had before. If you like greek you will love Aristos. If you want to try greek, you may never go anywhere else."

"Sure, you may try those great hamburger joints ...sure you've had huge breakfasts and been to the festival....but if you want authentic Greek food (no pastrami!) prepared like it is back home....served in ambiance that feels like an outdoor cafe in Athens or Chania....try this place! You will not be disappointed!! By the way....be bold and try the grilled octopus! Squeeze some lemon juice and dip your bread in the olive oil/oregano/grilled octopus/lemon juices and take a bite of the grilled tentacles - you will be in Aegean heaven!"

"We had an excellent meal. The food was delicious and the service was great. We had the Orektika, a wonderful platter of different meats. The fried cheese and the pasta with mizithra cheese. All were OUTSTANDING. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back."

"I have been to Aristo's various times over the last few years. It is consistently good. Wonderful wait staff is a big plus.. Really good casual ambiance and--if course--the food is top drawer. I am a big fan of Greek food and the braised lamb shank with orzo is the signature dish. The appetizers I've had are all a good start. I would readily recommend Aristo's to people who enjoy quality food at reasonable prices."

"Our dinner was fabulous and our waiter was very well informed. The mousaka is a must have. Wine corkage is $10 which is fine but a little on the high side. I would suggest $7 or $8. The menu had lots of choices and for two women we shared a couple of appetizers and then the mousaka. Just perfect."

"A medium sized menu of good selections that should satisfy nearly any diner. Service is prompt and good. The food portions are reasonable and the presentation is very good. Located one block from the U of Utah, Aristo's is great for pre-theater dining. The wine by the glass menu is diverse and reasonably priced. Check out this good choice for dining!"

"The decor was definitely lacking and the booth I sat in was missing springs and cushion, but the food was excellent. Our server was fabulous and was knowledgeable about the menu items. The locations is great, and I would definitely eat there again...maybe just not in a booth."

"Refreshing to experience a restaurant that is authentic and willing to serve cultural (Greek) food that goes beyond the basics. We enjoyed the variety and the off menue specials. Outstanding service. We are from metro NY and Boston and this restaurant stands out. Looks like SLC is developing an interesting food scene. Will definately be back next time we are in SLC."

"The Live Greek music on Thursday nights has made Aristo's very popular! Be sure to get a reservation so you can enjoy great food while listening to Chris and his partner play. As always, even though Aristo's was busy, service was excellent and we were able to get to Kingsbury Hall in time for our event."

"Great Greek Food. Very nice selection of food. Watched as other's meals came out and they all looked fantastic. We will be going back again to try other menu items. The service was great and they stayed on top of what they was doing. Restaurant was very busy that evening."

"I like Aristo's. I do. But after my Valentine's Day experience, I don't know that I will ever return there for special occasions.
I think we saw our waiter a total of three times all night. He also forgot to put our appetizer order in the computer, so we went without food for quite some time until our entree arrived. When we reminded him of the missing appetizer, he did not really apologize or offer to make it up to us in any way. Someone else took our dessert order and then he brought us the check. He seemed a nice individual, but I am one who prefers a more hands-on waiter who shows he cares and even banters with you a bit.
The biggest issue, for me, was the complete lack of a nod to Valentine's Day. No one even lit our tea candle."

"Yiasou! Aristo is the consumate host. He creates an environment that makes one feel like they are in Microlimano, Piraeus, Greece. Thursday nights during the Summer, with live music and outdoor dining is fantastic. Whenever I travel from Highland Park, TX, or Piraeus, Greece to Salt Lake City, I go to this restaurant. I highly recomend. Demetri of Highland Park"

"The food and service were very good in this cozy restaurant for a quiet winter lunch on an early Saturday afternoon. The hummus, tzatziki and taramosalata were very tasty, especially with the fresh and hot pita bread wedges and olives. The mousaka was excellent and filling. It all paired well with an Epic lager beer. The only miss we had was the Greek salad which was quite small and not particularly note worthy in terns of taste. The Greek salad also did not have enough feta cheese, and what there was was particularly bland. The overall value for the money was Ok."

"Unquestionably the best Greek restaurant I have ever been to. This is a must visit for anyone going to Salt Lake City. Authentic and delicious. The head waiter could not have any better."
