Centrally located at the same spot since 1967, B&B has been a Chicago tradition for area people and city visitors for hearty breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails.

We have added the new and now famous home made French bread and Foccacia, and the dough is made fresh daily.

We are proud and appreciative of our regular customers and eager to please new ones. Our bar has been updated with a new Sound & Light system, a dance floor, and satellite TV.

"This was an okay place. They did have a beer that I like a lot that I've not found many places...but it is essentially a diner with a full bar. I think that the description on Open Table had me thinking it was something else. My dining companion liked the dish that she got. I got a burger with feta and spinach. There was about 1 tsp of feta crumbled and a smattering of sauteed spinach. Not wowed by this. Kind of disappointed.

On a more positive note: service was really good."

"Service was very nice but I was surprised to find the ambience rather cafeteria-ish and the food only fair. The drinks were not made properly either. We were going to the theater and hoped for nice appetizers and drinks beforehand. I am surprised that this restaurant was on open table."

"I wanted to take my team of 8 out to dinner after a long day at a tradeshow in Chicago. I picked this restaurant because it had a huge menu so everyone would be able to find something. The pictures looked nice and it got decent reviews so I booked the reservation. I was very surprised when I walked in to find a "diner" like setting and the place not busy at all, honestly I am surprised they would take reservations. I bet its a great place for breakfast, or a quick lunch but it is not for a nice sit down dinner for your business guests. We were going to leave but we greeted by the nicest waiter ever, Israel. He was very personable and friendly, and had some great stories. We felt bad leaving on him and all ordered drinks and appetizers."

"I have been eating at Beef & Brandy for many years now and I can always count on them for a great meal and a great value. Best breakfast, even better dinners. They serve speedy lunches during the week too. They serve your typical diner fare which is superb. My fav breakfast item is their spinach & feta omelette and if you love Liver & Onions--theirs is the best. They have a bar downstairs and the last time I was down there it was a bit dark & dank for me however; you can order alcoholic beverages at your table with your meal. The staff is always pleasant and welcoming and the wait staff will treat you right. Beef & Brandy is the best bang for your buck in the Loop."
