"Needed somewhere to eat convenient to our hotel - Google Maps showed this place up, the reviews looked promising and just 5 min walk away.
Friday night so it was busy and as I had managed to book on-line got our table immediately (un-booked waiting time was 45 mins plus).
Beers tried were the IPA and Irish Red - both excellent. Ordered filet mignon - this will sound unoriginal BUT it really was one of the best steaks ever. I do mean ever - and for an 'old' boy that's a lot of meat tried over the years!!
Other half took the salmon and also enjoyed.
Go there....it's a must if you're in Fayetteville."

"I took my Mother to the Mash House in Fayetteville for Mother's Day. The service was wonderful and the food was great. The menu had quite a lot of options so there should be something for almost everyone.
We will certainly come back again."

"The experience I had at the Mash House was exquisite, but it was primarily due to one server named Barbie. She was perky, helpful but not overbearing, and witty. She made our experience on Mother's Day wonderful! We thank her very much and we will definitely be back to see her."

"In a town filled with mostly chain restaurants and lots of fast food, The Mash House is a notable exception. My fiance and I have been several times and each time has been excellent. The menu is typical of what you'd expect from a steakhouse/brewery but each menu option we've tried has been exceptional. I'm sure there isn't a better steak restaurant in Fayetteville. The service we've had each time has been great and the prices are very good considering how much we've enjoyed it."

"From the moment we arrived the service was outstanding. Our waitress Brooke met us at the host table and gave us the best service we have had in a long time. She gave us good descriptions of the dishes and her reccomendations were right on. The timing of the service was right on and this is very important to us. One of the managers came by to see how the experience was going. He was sincere and spent time to listen, not the normal perfunctory quick stop. We have already recommended to others as well we will be back often."

"My wife an I have ate here before and enjoyed the inside environment very much. The outside has room for improvement in that its just tables, chairs ad 2 TVs. A little thought and decor go a long way. If you go, eat indoors for a better experience. The waitress was excellent. The restaurant will let you sample the beers to make sure you get what you want, I did appreciate that. I found a great beer to go with my choice of dinner."

"Had dinner on Easter night. Since this was our first time at this restaurant, we do not believe the ambiance or noise level that we experienced might be reflective of what would occur on a regular evening. We enjoyed the beer that we ordered and the the ability to taste the beer prior to ordering was much appreciated. However, the food had several issues. A seafood pasta dish was delivered at room temperature. The waitress did offer to have it remade but we declined as we did not want to wait. The fried chicken special, listed on the menu as having a honey based glaze, in fact had a sweet thick sauce poured over the chicken that unfortunately left it soggy. Where the sauce was absent the chicken was excellent."

"I love this restaurant. The food is made to order as it should be in every kitchen. The beer is always a treat for me and I always bring my growler for a refill of my favorite hefeweiß beir. I had reservations for a table of six and we all showed up early with intentions on hanging out at the bar until our seating time came about but we got seated right away. Many thanks for that."

"My husband and i had the cowboy ribeye which had to be the toughest ribeye ever and was not cooked as ordered. The manager said that sometimes they may get a batch of tough meat which is understandable. We couldn't eat the steak and the potatoes were dry and cold, didn't eat those either. The manager offered to cook another steak for us to take home, if the first steak was tough and from the same batch why would we want that. The manager didn't offer to comp the meal or even put it on a gift card."

We started with their beer sampler soup (loaded potato) and salads (wedge) followed by a well prepared main course of fish stuffed with crab meat and 2 different cuts of steaks. "We were brought the wrong beer several times and then upon receiving our entrees, one order wasnt included, the food runners blamed the waitress, the waitress blamed the food runners and after waiting half a hour to get it, all out food had gotten cold. It was very disappointing"

"Outside heater constantly turned off, leaving the area a bit drafty/cold. Waitress was unattentive. We had to ask other waiters/servers for things we needed. The food itself was good. I ordered medium rare and it was a bit tough. The sides were delicious ( mash potatoes and asparagus). Overall I'd have to say it was okay service and okay food. Nothing really stands out comparing to other restaurants."

"Always appreciate good beer, good food, and good service. One of my friends had food allergies and I made a note of it on my open table reservations. The staff was on it. Both the waiter and manager know about it and made it a point to check several times to make sure food was prepared separately and he was okay. Service was great and My friend really enjoyed the steak.
I tried the sampler, which gives you a small cup of everything, and it was great. Some other places only give you a small selection of their beers, the Mash House gives you all their beers. Liked all the beers and they had a variety from IPA's to stouts. Really liked the red beer and ordered a full pint afterwards."

"My wife and I went here. Not particularly a romantic get away because of the openness of the place, but very nice. The Manager stopped by and introduced herself. All staff was attentive to all tables and their needs, not just your waiter. We started with the potatoe skins, which I usually don't like, but these were delicious with the pulled pork on them. I had the Devil on Horseback that had fried oysters on top of steak and horseradish. It was outstanding. The steak was cooked to perfection and had great fresh taste. My asparagus were hard for my liking, I like them softer.
My wife had the Flank Steak, which was also great (I got a taste of hers). We will definitely go back to the Mash house."

We three thoroughly enjoyed our rootbeers! Only an icy mug could have been better. Our entrees were very tasty--BBQ sandwich, jambalaya, ribs. Cole slaw was excellent; side of mac and cheese was mediocre. (Diner ate very less than half)
