The Booker-Lewis Restaurant features world-class fare in a charming, Old South setting. The classic breakfasts and dynamic dinners are subtle creations elegantly served. The restaurant is locally known for its exquisite cuisine, intimate ambiance and attentive service.
Meals may be taken in one of three dining rooms, or on the wrap-around porch of The Booker-Lewis House. Service is also available at John Beck’s Pub located next door in the Ward House.
"The ambiance was great with a small dining experience. The food was fantastic and was very reasonably priced. The staff was very wonderful, courtious, and always available to fill an empty glass."

"I have been to the Booker Lewis twice now, for breakfast and dinner. The atmosphere is probably it's best selling point, the house is adorable and the setup is neat. Food for both meals has been good/decent; serving time varies and may take awhile, but it is a small, local joint, so whenever other events are happening, they affect the restaurant. If you are looking for a decent meal in Leesville, this is one of the ONLY places in town :)"

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Booker-Lewis Restaurant. My steak was outstanding, cooked just like I like it and then improved with the sauce and carmelized onions!! He had the crab stuffed flounder which was absolutely delicious. The sides were just right for the entrees. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to all our friends (and we'll return as often as possible!)"

"This was our forth experience dining at Booker-Lewis. We are never disappointed. This particular visit was most pleasant because of the open table reservation. On a more personal note, I prefer the restaurant because of the white table cloth (as opposed to your arms sticking to the table at a "cat fish" joint where they wipe the table with the same rag used to clean chairs, etc.).(restaurants that dismis this concern are off my choice listings) Our waitress on this occasion was very pleasant and efficient."

"I reserved a seat for my wife and I for our 14 year anniversary. When we arrived the restaurant was empty and we were so excited to finally be eating here since we heard so much great things about the place. When the hostes approached us she said our tabe was moved to outside (it was very breezy and chilly) neither my wife nor I was dressed to be sitting in the weather for dinner so o explained this to the hostes she said that it was to bad but that is where our table was and she could mot move it. This was a Wednesday early evening and there was no one else in the dinning room. I asked her abiut this she said "your table is outside you can either sit there or go to the pub but that is your only choices" needless to say we left."

"I was told it would be a nice romantic place to take my wife for our eleven year anniversary, but surprisingly there was a lot of loud children there and seated right next to us, twice even after we asked to be seat in a more secluded area. Made me fill like wasted money on the babysitter, I realize that when you don’t have a kids menu is not always enough for people to get the point across. But the wait staff should be more sensitive to a couple trying to have a quit romantic dinner. Because of advertising I thought it was a casual upscale restaurant but I don’t think the resaurant is viewed that way by locals. Very unprofessional staff, the food was wonderful very upscale worth the money but the experience was not, next with the kids?"

"The experience was going well until the unprofessionalism of the owner came out as her berated our waitress in front of the dining area for their customers to see. I felt it was highly unnecessary and uncalled for as it was my drink and he was in the wrong about what I wanted. Which turned an amazing experience into an absolute horror from which I couldn't escape from."
