Situated in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood in New York City, Medi Wine Bar is an inviting space that offers Mediterranean fusion cuisine and a wide selection of wines from the region, combined with unparalleled service. Medi's rich food menu will include small plates, such as Bites, Mezzes, and Tapas, as well as main plates complimented with some of the best valued wines that the Mediterranean region has to offer. "We enjoyed sitting in the backyard patio on a nice early evening. decent tapas, good service, extensive wine list that is overpriced. I expect a mark up, but I resent gouging, and medi wine bar has a really overpriced its wine list."

"I really liked the ambiance, food and of course the wine. I like full body reds and our very nice cute server recommended this red Egeo Syrah from Turkey! We enjoyed it so much, we ordered a second bottle of the same. Our server was very nice, sweet and attentive but some of the other people that work there did not seem as friendly.
The food was delicious and we were quite surprised at the variety for a wine bar. The sausage, the ceviche, the gnocchi. I can't remember what else we had but everything was great. I will be going back.
Supposedly there is some nice outdoor sitting in back but i didn't investigate. I will check it out next time."

"Our second dinner @ Medi: first time was indoors, this time in the outdoor garden. Highly recommend the garden. Between the two of us, we ordered the octopus appetizer, the beet salad, the branzino and the seafood cous cous minus the sausage. Everything was very, very good. (We reserve excellent for super high-end dining or I'd say "excellent." We are big fans of Medi."

"What a find! Medi specializes in our favorite foods: fresh seafood well prepared. Plus the service was excellent. We ordered the grilled seafood platter for two or more and a side order of grilled vegetables. It was probably too much food, but we did it justice. Everything was so delicious. Highly recommend."

"I was surprised by the bad service, the average quality of the food the unimaginable wait for the check and then having to stay even longer for them to solve the charging mistake on my card make the whole experience even more unpleasant, I was there previously for brunch and always loved it.. I won't be going the for dinner any time soon and with me the other 6 people I took there."
