"As usual and as expected, this is one of the best steak house values you'll find in Reno. The Rib Eye was OK but that was probably due to my personal taste. I should have ordered my usual, Prime Rib or Filet, so I can't really fault them for that. The menu is short and to the point.
But once again avoid the outer foyer area for dinner as you are exposed to people walking through in and out of the main resturtant as well as noise from the bar next door and casino traffic with bright lights. Thi may not be a problem for some.
The salad and soup bar continues to be outstanding with many selection options."

"The Prime rib was undercooked compared to how it was ordered and it was average. The salad bar was average. The food was fine, but for the price and the supposed signature dinning, I was not impressed. I have had better quality salad bar experiences at Sizzler and Round Table. I have had the same quality Prime Rib at any casino or other restaurant. What is sad is that we were there at 530 pm, they open at 500 pm, and it was a Saturday. The atmosphere however, was great!"

"From the moment you arrive the service is excellent. As we had dinner with out of town visitors we enjoyed their company even after we finished dessert and coffee. The restaurant was in no rush to fill our table, allowing us more time with our guests. The salad bar is wonderful and extremely fresh."

Service was fine.. Atmosphere was fine.
Salad bar was fine...
We ordered a couple prime rib dinners.. I ordered the large cut, medium rare. It came out almost well done.
My wife ordered the 8 oz cut and it came out medium. They looked to be almost the same size even though my was supposed to be twice as big.
That was disappointing..."

"We had a wonderful experience in the relaxed and tasteful dining room. We ordered the Valentine special meal of Chateaubriand and the entire meal was one delight after another. The beef was so tender we could cut it with a fork. Amazing salad bar, beautiful desert and a very resonably priced wine list. The service was great.

"We go to the Grill at the El Dorado regularly, usually before the show. This trip was not good. The steak was thin and overdone. The usual 2 for 1 wine deal was not in place. The waiter told us that it had ended "a couple of years ago" which we knew was not true."

Their menu was a bit confusing regarding the Early bird- it read 17.99 for both never being there we took it for both people so was surprised when the bill read 17.99 ea. "The service was absolutely lousy!!! We had a party of 6 and we didn't get our food until 1 hour after we were sat. When we asked why it was taking so long, our waiter replied that adding the melted blue cheese to the tops of our steaks was why it was taking this long. Really?! The waiter was hard to find, we often had to ask the hostess to go get him. He never refilled drinks or checked on our food. We had to hunt him down to get our check. When we asked to speak to a manager, he went and talked to the manager and only offered to take off the 2.00 for each of the blue cheese toppings. We never got to speak to a manager and we were on a time limit as we were trying to get to the concert. Our waiter received 0 tip and we won't be back!"

"BF said the Prime Rib and mashed potatoes were possibly the best he ever. I had the filet mignon and baked potato (huge) both were exceptional. The salad bar was very good. Service was very good, atmoshere was relaxing but much more romantic than the buffet. Overall it was a wonderful meal."
