"The restaurant is really beautiful. I love the decor. As others have stated it is pretty noisy. They actually have one of the better kids menus I have seen. They have a petite filet for the children, which my daughter enjoyed. We all ordered the filet, my husband had the surf n turf with a crab cake. he said it wasn't bad but he would not order it again, too many other places in MD to get a really good crab cake. All in all we really enjoyed our meals and drinks, they had some great mixed drinks. We will return."

"It seems Martin's Grille could've done more in regards to making my family's mother's dinner more memorable. Aside from our waitress, who was great, there was nothing that would make me come back. There were 2 hostesses who were so stoned faced and uninviting that we considered going elsewhere. The food was so-so. I had the Tuscan grilled chicken which was juicy but very bland. My son had the crab cake BLT and he didn't like it at all. Both of his brothers tasted it and they agreed. As for the decor, very nice & rustic. If I were to go back, I'd try the bar... maybe."

"This place has a nice variety for the brunch crowd. The pancakes were superb, and my fiance had lobster mac and cheese with avocado. Service was great, and it's in a lovely hotel. Perfect if you want to eat near Maryland Live, but want something a little nicer than the chain restaurants!"

"We were a group of six and there were several groups with reservations with one being over 12. The first two tables we were placed at were not very comfortable because most of the people in are our group were above average in height. However, everytime we asked they found a new spot for us once another other groups had left. They were so gracious and we were very appreciative. On top of that our waitress was exceptional and the food was very good. A great evening!"

"I took my mother their for an early Mother's Day dinner on Saturday. When I made the reservation, I did not realize that they only served brunch until 4 p.m. I asked if we could order off the dinner menu and they accomodated us. Our waitress was helpful and very friendly. Her name was Dominique. We all ordered steak and my filet mignon was very tender and seasoned well. We also all ordered the BLT salad which was an excellent portion and very tasty."

"My girlfriend and I came here for a date night. We were sat immediately by a smiling and courteous host. Our server got our drink orders and we were also given delicious bread with cheese in the middle! What a nice way to start off the meal. We ordered some appetizers which came out quickly and piping hot. We loved them both, the scallops in the grits and the fresh mozzarella salad. Our dinners were timed perfectly and came out soon after we had finished appetizers. My steak was cooked perfectly and my girlfriend's salmon looked excellent. (She said it was, too.) Cotton candy at the end of the meal is a great touch. Grillfire will be added to our regular spots!"

"Another enjoyable meal at Grillfire. Everyone enjoyed their dish - seafood fettuccine looked delish, as well as the corn chowder, which was a special. The salads were fresh and crisp. I would skip the Thai chili sauce on the swordfish next time, as it was more teriyaki than chili - I expected some heat and just got salt. The fish itself was good and cooked to perfection."

"The food is excellent! I've been there for dinner with couples and for lunch with the girls. The menu is always full of tasty choices for carnivores, vegetarians and everyone in between. The salad selection is awesome. The greens are green and crunchy with interesting additions. The swordfish with sweet potato/crab meat hash was fabulous. Mac and cheese is heavenly. Even the meat loaf was special. Enter the restaurant through the lobby of the hotel. Pretty snazzy decor with impressive fireplace."

"Our party of three dined at Grillfire on a Saturday night. The service was good if a little on the casual side. The guacamole for the table was a little heavy on the garlic but otherwise fine. Two of us ordered from the "Simply Fish" menu...the ahi tuna and the swordfish were competently cooked in a simple sauce and accompanied by (barely) steamed broccoli. The third member in our party ordered the ahi tuna wrap, which was, again, good not great. The wine list (by glass) proved pretty limited and predictable. There was nothing special about the food to justify the somewhat higher-than-average prices that were charged. The restaurant itself is nicely appointed and comfortable. As others have mentioned, it is a pretty loud place."

"We had reservations for 6:00PM, but were running late due to traffic. I called to let them know, and they said it was no problem. Parking was convenient, and adjacent to the restaurant in a garage. We were seated immediately and the energy in the restaurant was immediately evident. We were greated by our waiter within two minutes of seating. He explained the specials and asked for our drink order. When our waiter brought our drinks, he also brought a large roll that had a butter and cheese mixture throughout. It was delicious. My wife's majito was delicious also. Our entrees came shortly thereafter, my wife order the filet and cake. The crab cake was delicious with no shells. I had the NY strip, cooked to perfection. We will return."

"This restaurant is a family favorite. We came here for a meal with my parents and had a great time. My husband ordered the skirt steak and I had the chicken marsala. They were both excellent. Food came out hot and perfectly seasoned. We also tried the fresh mozzarella appetizer, so yummy! Our server was great. Attentive and knowledgeable. "This was my first time at Grillfire. I was early for my reservation, but was seated right away. Our server was nice, but he disappeared a few times. The food was good. The tomato (purple tomatoes) and mozzarella salad was delicious!!! I will be going back just for that. When my cousin had to send her meal back, a mistake made by her not the staff, the staff was accommodating and pleasant. A special shout out to the manager on duty that night, Gloria. ."

"This was our 4th visit, and the service was not so great this time around. We won't let it spoil our past experiences there. "Great food! Husband and I come here often for quick date night without drive into DC or Baltimore. Noise level was deafening this visit because they sat us next to two large parties. Also very warm in dining room. I've been in the past and had wonderful ambience so I think it was where we were sitting and that heating system hasn't been adjusted for new season yet. Definitely worth a visit. Other than noise level, decor is very inviting and romantic -like an upscale log cabin/lodge."

"This was my second time within the week I visited the restaurant. I took my wife this time. She really enjoyed the restaurant. We met the manager Gloria, who was very friendly and personable. My wife order barbecue ribs and I ordered the special new york strip steak topped with grilled shrimp and asiago sauce. I had a glass of Ravenwood zinfidel and my wife ordered a long island ice tea. Everyone was so friendly in the restaurant. We plan on visiting there again real soon."

"I visitd this restaurant at the suggestion and with a former co-worker. I was truly impressed with the restaurant and its location. The food was very good. I ordered the crab cakes, a glass of Raven Wood Zinfidel with a side of grits. The only complaint is the grits were on the cold side which is not good for grits. The grits were tasty, but a little over cooked. My coworker got the chicken breast with tomatoes,cheese and mushrooms and broccoli as the side dish in which she said was very good. The atomosphere was great. The service is very friendly. The food was served quickly once we ordered. The cotton candy at the end is a nice touch, but we did not eat any.

"Was not impressed with the cocktail preparation or maybe the ingredients in the signature cocktail. The mojito was bitter and the cosmo was tart. I would stick to the basics if I ever had the opportunity to drink their again. Would liketo have seen another Reisling or Sweet Red on the Wine List. The food was exceptional which made up for the non-tasty or refreshing drinks."

"Have dined there on several occasions and have been pleased with the food and the staff. We had reservations for Easter and my wife and I brought two friends with us. Although the restaurant was not busy at 4P.M. the service was very slow.It took almost ten min. to get our drink orders and another ten to get the drinks.We left at 5:30P.M. after what was the slowest service I have encountered in recent memory.The appetizers were o.k. but the main meals were luke warm.It also took 15min.to get and pay the check.What a let down...especially since we told our friends how good the place was.....ouch!!!!"

"Baby back ribs were tasty and not dry and tough as they are nowadays at so many restaurants so I would rate them above average. My wife's filet mignon was cooked correctly to medium rare but was tasteless. Salads and accompaniments were tasty and above average. Good selection on menu."

"I love the relaxed contemporary vibe. This has become a frequent stop because the food and service is consistently excellent. The menu has something for everyone in your party from the sophisticated to the person who wants something basic. I love their salads – always fresh. I am working my way through the menu: the ribs both regular and short ribs are favorites. My husband loves the tuna."

"I love going to Grillfire and always have great food. Our only complain this time was our server. She took about 10 minutes just to get to our table. At some point she finally realized that the kitchen had lost our ticket and had our main courses made. The food overall was excellent. We just felt as if we waited a bit more time than we should have."
