When Salvatore Faso opened Piccolino Ristorante Pizzeria, his goal was simple: combine his lifelong experience accumulated in the finest Italian restaurants of Italy and California, with the finest ingredients, authenticity, preparation and a passion for the Canyon and its surrounding communities.
Established in 2007, Italian dining at Piccolino serves regional Italian cuisine, including artisan made pasta, fresh wild caught fish and the finest meats and poultry available on the market daily.
Vintage decor, candlelit romantic dining complete with red roses will accompany your dinner. Dining al fresco is very popular. We serve some of the finest Italian and Californian wines available.
"Our first time at Piccolino's and it was very enjoyable. The menu was very extensive with many unusual selections. The staff was very attentive. In fact, the owner personally greeted us at the door! We will definitely go back again."

"We found this restaurant on OpenTable and decided to try it for Mother's Day. We had an 11:30 AM seating. Very few people at the place. We all felt that for a strip mall location this place was way over priced. The food was good but nothing was served with the entree's. There Mother's day lunch was $50 a person and included one glass of champagne. Service was slow."

"Located in a strip mall next to a Von's, you would not think much of Piccolino, but the food is AMAZING. Duck confit filled pasta? Fantastic. Great mushroom parmesan truffle sauce (Ravioloni d'Anatra) The lamb chops are incredible, the Tortelloni di Zucca? How can you go wrong with homemade pumpkin filled tortellini? if that doesn't make you drool, the amaretto bread crumbs on it will!
Staff is on tope of it and chef Salvatore Faso has proved his point, he smokes like a grass fire."

"The owner of the restaurant was on site and very accommodating. We ate on the outside patio which was screened from the parking lot making it very pleasant. The food was wonderful and the service very attentive. We loved the fact they we could bring our own wine with no corkage fee."

"After my first visit to Piccolino I couldn't wait to go back. When I did, on a recent Saturday evening, the food was still delicious but the service so poor we left to have dessert elsewhere. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived yet we were shown a table in an undesirable spot. I asked for a different table-pointing to a specific one and was told it was reserved. The waiter then retreated to the back to discuss with others where he should "put them." In a small restaurant, every word can be heard. We were seated at a table for six near the kitchen entrance. Go figure. Every word from the kitchen staff could be heard as they brushed past us to go in and out. And Osso Buco for $35? Service needs to improve to warrant that price!"

"Terrific. Outstanding service and the outdoor patio is lovely. Despite being in a shopping center, they do a great job of recreating a lovely outdoor scene that allows you to forget where you are for the duration of your meal. Food was fairly simple and not noteworthy, but the atmosphere and service makes up for it."

"Service was outstanding plus the owner comes out to check on you and introduce himself. He even knew it was our first time in and welcomed us. The food is very good! Most items such as pasta and pizza dough are made in house. Great find!"

"Valentine's Day was perfect event though the staff was stretched. They handled the overflow crowd well, service was great, food was outstanding and even time to chat with the owner. I need to go back when all the lovers are angry to see how the staff handles the experience. Don't pass up this hidden gem"

"We celebrated Valentine's Day at Piccolino's this year. As always, the food was terrific, as was the service. This was a very busy night for them. All the tables were taken by 6:00, but the wait staff didn't miss a beat. While they had a special menu for Valentine's Day for $50 per person, they also let customers order ala carte if they preferred. And early birds like us were able to order from the regular menu. We have never been disappointed in Piccolino's and this visit was no exception."

"Well the food was great, the waiters were good but, it probably may have been cause of valentines day, took very long for our dishes to be picked up and to receive the check. Overall the restaurant was okay but I doubt I would go back soon."

"This restaurant was highly recommended to us as fine dining. Food was fair. Service OK. Extensive wine list. Lowest bottle of cabinet was $36 and quickly escalated from there. There are two many italian restaurants better than this to go back."
