SeaVenture Restaurant located on the beach in California's Central Coast wine country, the third floor Restaurant allows you to take in breathtaking sunsets and panoramic beach and ocean views from large picture windows and outdoor decks. Chef Casey Walcott's contemporary coastal cuisine is inspired by the surrounding local wine country. Our seasonal menu is prepared with locally farmed vegetables, premium pork and beef and the highest quality fish and seafood. All desserts are made in house from scratch.

"Slow night but service was also slow and a little disoriented. Even though it was slow I felt they were not very friendly to people. The person at the host stand was a little arrogant. Really, many empty tables at 7:30 and made us feel we appeared without reservations on a busy night. The view is wonderful but so are many other restaurants."

"We enjoyed our meal particularly because of the fantastic location and view from our table of the beach. In general all of the items were nicely prepared, presented, and acceptably priced but the service was fragmented. It seemed like the servers were racing around to get to their next customer 'just in time' before that customer was about to get frustrated about a lack of attentiveness. That detracted from what otherwise was a nice vibe. Would probably give them a second chance. Wine list limited but creative with some half bottles and focus on local wineries."

"Went to SeaVenture Hotel for our anniversary. I had not been to Pismo in years so I did not know where to plan to eat out for our special night. Read the reviews for the restaurant on-site, so I gave it a shot. As a hotel guest, I could purchase a voucher at a discounted rate, that was nice. To our surprise, everything was really, really good! I have nothing but good things to say about the food. My husband had the oysters rockafeller, clam chowder and the prime rib special, he loved it all. I had the deconstructed bruschetta, beet salad and the double chicken breast, it was all fab! As you can tell, we ordered way to much, so we had some to spare and no room for dessert, do I am not able to comment on them. Service was a bit slow."

"The food was very good, but it was very, very noisy. There was a wedding event in an ajoining room and no one cared about how much noise was getting into the restaurant. The door between the room and the restaurant was always open and my wife and I could barely hear one another. Unless you can do something about that then we will not be back."

"We had a delightful anniversary dinner at Sea Venture last Saturday night. The sunset view created a soothing ambiance, and the presentation of the dishes was artistic. Our service was very good for a Saturday night, but we noticed that the couple at the table next to ours had a hard time getting the staff's attention, and they seemed to also have a problem with their appetizer. Overall, though, we would recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner that matches the seaside setting."

"Young, inexperienced waiters were well meaning but not well trained. Fried Calamari starter overcooked in oil that had been used many, many times. Fruit De Mare pasta was a disaster. Overcooked pasta swimming in too much artichoke pesto and oil. I returned it and, to his credit, the waiter did not charge me for the plate. Starters and main course were so bad that we didn't chance dessert. Local advertisements for this restaurant illustrate an upper class establishment in an agreeable environment. This is not the case. Buyer beware!
Plus Open Table gives no dining credits. Poor experience overall."

"As always the food is excellent and the view is even better, overlooking the beach. If u dine around sunset u get a beautiful view of the ocean. The workers are very courteous and the chief definitely knows what hes doing! Everytime were in pismo this is one of our stops. So yummy!"

"We had reservations at 7:30 on Saturday night. We arrived around 6;45 to sit at bar and have a coctail. It took us 15 minutes to have the bar tender ask us what we wanted. The resturant is very nice with an amazing view so we just enjoyed that while waiting. We were brought to our table at 7:30 but sat another 10 minutes until we were even brought water and then waited another 5 min to be greeted by a server. My husband ordered the Filet and I had the Chicken it was very ordinary. We had had dinner at Steemers the night before and the atmosphere is not as nice the food was much better."

"We went on a night with probably one of the most beautiful sunsets Ever. It was like looking at a painting while sitting at our table overlooking the ocean. My new favorite dish is now the Pacific Trio (sauteed shrimp, scallops and a pan fried risotto crab cake)!! Hubby had the Stuffed Chicken Breast, which he also thoroughly enjoyed. We also took advantage of the special on Thursday nights when there is no corkage fee. Very enjoyable dining experience, and we can't wait to return!"
