"A very nice surprise! Didn't expect it but the food is really good and the ambience nice as well. I didn't expect such a nice place in a quite little town but really impressed. I am usually not a big fan of Italian food but for this place, I really love the food."

"This has been a go-to place for my guy and I but it's become tiresome: menue, including specials, haven't changed in years. No matter the weather, they will NOT open the doors before 5:00pm. While a SMALL space they routinely book "business presentations" simultaneous with dinner service. This last time I might as well have asked one of the suits to sit on my lap they were hoovering so close to our table. Wines by the glass are very sub par.

Service was not very good: we came early (because of kids) so there were 15 employees all over us; plates were taken away before we were finished; etc..

"The seating uncomfortably close - so much so that the table behind me bumped the back of my chair several times during the meal and the waiter has to interrupt taking my order to deliver the food to the adjacent table in the corner.
This is not an inexpensive meal and the food is very good but what is most memorable is the lack of space."

"Food selection and taste are always very good. However, the portion sizes are bit weak for the price they demand. We recently went for dinner on a Saturday night and service was bad. After taking the dinner order, the waiter never returned until dinner was completly over. On a different note, the ambience is very nice however the noise level in the entire place is very high."

"We were convinced by friends to retry Fiorino after many years and were not impressed. The food was fine although certainly not up to the level of La Focaccia, which is also in Summit. Our main concern was the service - terrible is the only way to describe it. I found the staff to be rude and poorly trained. We will not be returning."

"Haven't been to Fiorino in quite some time. After Saturday I now remember why. The place was very good at one time, but the food and service are marginal at this time. It seems that they have fallen victim to that "we do everything right" syndrome and don't look to improve or "audit" their business.
I rarely complain, but the food service was less than what I am normally used to and certainly way below what I expected. My wife's rack of lamb was extremely fatty (even though she asked first) and their signature pork chop dish was so tough I had to return it. The most shocking part was 10 minutes after I returned my meal they still were walking around with my plate. 15 minutes later they finally returned with a menu"

"My pasta fagoli soup had about four white beans in it and one piece of pasta; the portion was too small for the price, but thankfully it was served hot. Ths salmon was over cooked and dry, and the portion was too big, served on some mixed greens--nothing more than I'd get from a bag of lettuce at Kings--for $27 I'd expect something well cooked and a bit more special. Very overpriced.Would not go back.

"We were there for our anniversary, and were placed initially at problematic tables - first one next to a heavily trafficked aisle near the bar, then one next to a very loud , large table. The maitre d' was very responsive and moved us finally to a quiet table in the corner of the wine room, though we question why we were moved from one noisy spot to a second. If you have similar concerns, perhaps voice them when you make the reservation. After that, we received good service and excellent food. Only the desserts were disappointing. Unimpressive sorbet and a humdrum chocolate Bombe."

"The food here is delicious -- real home-made Italian food. Scene is a bit older - families and couples ranging from 40s-60s. There is a guy with a guitar that walks around and plays music, which is a nice touch. Overall the noise level is a bit loud, but fun and energetic. My only complaint is that after making a reservation I still had to wait 15-20 minutes for my table."

"Somewhat pricey for the portion sizes. Diverse menu was delicious, though some in our group felt the chef was a little heavy on the salt. Otherwise all dishes quite tasty. Thought the glass of wine (actually a quartina) was a bit overpriced at $14. That really jacked up an otherwise reasonable bill. Would absolutely love this place if it were BYO!"

"We went here for my husband's 40th birthday and it was really good. He ordered the t-bone steak and it was delicious. I had the homemade pasta which was also very good. The tuna tar-tar appetizer was delicious as well. It was crowded, but not too noisy. Even with people waiting, they did not rush us out. In fact we had to ask for the check. I just wish there were wine choices under $36.00 a bottle. That wasn't a great bottle, so we ended up having to get the next best choice which was $45.00/ bottle. Overall, it was a great choice and we will definitely go back."
