"the menu keeps getting better. used to be mostly small, fried tapas, but now healthier choices and can easily be dinner and not just small bites. service friendly and helpful. little bit slow with food but they were super busy when I was there."

"Went with a friend, we were new to the tapas experience and the waiter explained to us what tapas are, and what we should sample. The tapas we selected were delicious and filling. We had sangria to drink, their sangria has to be some of the best in the city. Tapas menu could be larger(although there is something there anyone would like) and more dessert options should be added. Even so, I plan on becoming a regular."

"Overall, the tapas at Nai are pretty good! We ordered 4 tapas and were full! (Technically we ordered 5, but the 5th never came out.) We ate at 7:00pm on a Friday. The space is relatively tight if the bar is packed. The bar was getting louder as the night went on.
Order the red sangria!"

"Had a business dinner there the other night. Food was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent. It was a bit noisy at times. Had red sangria, we shared 6 or 7 dishes each better then the next. Will definitely go back again."

"Great food, great service and great atmosphere at a very reasonable price! We even got a free pitcher of Sangria because they were out of the potatoes we ordered, and he offered me a new drink for free if I didn't like the one he recommended. Been there five times the last month, definitely my new favorite restaurant!"

"The grilled octopus was so tender it almost just melted away in your mouth! The squid I ink was also just done to almost perfection. Tight quarters but that's expected in the East Village. The Sangria wasn't too bad either."

"We had a group of 10 for a birthday celebration and had an amazing time!! The service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this for a birthday celebration. They made my boyfriends birthday very special, and not only that the food and sangria was delicious!!!!"

"If you want to go out to dinner, but want something different and fun rather then the traditional restaurant, this is the place to go. The different sangrias to choose from, trying out the different entrées in small portions and great live Flamenco dancing show, makes this place a fun different place to go. Also, despite the crowded chaos, the service was courteous."

"I really enjoy this place. I've been here a few times with different groups of my gfs. It's a cute place to hang n preface a bit before goin out on the town. "I absolutely LOVED Nai Tapas. I've heard such great things and my recent visit validated everything. The sangria is delicious and will have to try one of the flavored varieties next time. My favorite dish was the garlic shrimp - pop some of the complimentary bread into that sauce and BAM...delicious party in your mouth. I will definitely return."

"Nai Tapas is a little place in the east village, it has great food and amazing sangria. Went for dinner with 2 friends and my sister. We had 5 tapas and 3 pitchers of sangria. Each one gave $35 with tip included! Very good prices for good quality food. Would go back, the service was attentive and entertaining."

A few of the dishes seemed plain, not much spice or sauce to them. For instance, while the fried goat cheese ball itself was very tasty, it was served on a lonesome piece of bread with a slice of tomato in between - they definitely could have done more here. My girlfriend thought the garlic shrimp also had a weird texture to them.
Overall it was a nice place but not one I see myself going back to. (Overall rating - 4)"
