Nestled amidst the ancient, moss draped oaks in Harbour Town, CQ's combines great fun, fine dining and a touch of Hilton Head Island history. CQ's has the feeling of an old, cozy, and comfortable inn. Heart-of-pine floors, wooden mantle pieces, stained glass, and the photographs and memorabilia of the Lowcountry culture all contribute to the charm that has made CQ's the place to dine since 1973. Inspired by the abundant varieties of fresh seafood, beef and game available. Our chef creates dishes that are best described as contemporary American with classic influences. Recognized for having the most extensive wine list on Hilton Head Island, CQ's offers more than 400 wine selections with over 70 poured by the glass.

"CQ's is a neat little restaurant housed in an old house near Harbor Town. The menu is very interesting and the specials are very good. We highly recommend it. It is always one of our stops when we vacation in Hilton Head"

"I can describe our experience in one word: LOUD.
We had hoped for a nice dinner at an upscale restaurant and it was like being at a wing and burger place or maybe a fraternity party. Our waiter said it was because of it being during Heritage Week. The food may have been good, but it certainly wasn't enjoyable. We won't go back, Heritage or any other time."

"The restaurant is in sort of a shack that is out back from the Marriott Harbortown, which is either historically quaint (oldest building in Harbortown or something) or a little rough. The food was good but not exquisite. The best sounding item on the menu for me was the braised beef short ribs, of which they either ran out or were down to the last portion before we ordered. I chose the featured steak which was a ribeye. The flavor was good but it was not a particularly good cut of meat, as often plagues ribeyes. Other items were good."

"We had a wonderful time at CQ's-- the bartender on sunday evening added to our pleasant experience. We arrived early so we sat at the bar --- he made good drinks and we enjoyed his personality. "My husband and I each ordered specials, steak and scallops. Both were excellent, well prepared, with delicious accompaniments. With a restaurant that has been around so long, one would expect many entrees that have become standards. But there are always enough specials that we haven't set a particular dish as the one we came for. We have never been disappointed with our dinners, and look forward to trying something new, or one of the entrees we have had before."

"We took my wife's parents to CQ's for their anniversary. CQ's is a nice restaurant, quiet enough for visiting and well managed. We enjoyed a couple of their specials as well as their standard fare. The dinner was excellent, but I would recommend passing on desserts - none of the three we ate measured up to the expectations set by the dinner. Overall it was an excellent dining experiences."

"Caesar salad and harvest soup appetizers were excellent. Tuna and crab cake entrees were very good. Wine selection was limited, but prices were good. Service was good--refilled water frequently but not our wine. Had to wait for about 5-10 minutes for anyone to appear to seat us (restaurant was not that busy). Servers were very friendly, but not intrusive. We went as a part of a two entrees for the price of one special event and a 20% gratuity was automatically added (although they did tell us that when we received the bill)."
