"Food was top notch, however the service left something to be desired. No bread was delivered to our table and service was extremely slow for no apparent reason."

"Just pushed our previously favorite dining spot to 2nd place and we have been to a lot of restaurants! We're locals and look forward to our next trip to Hops and Vines. Want to try everything on the menu at least once! The scallops were my favorite and my husband's favorite was everything he ordered and what was left of mine! Appetizer of Home made chips with crumbled blue cheese dressing! Yum! Even had dessert!"

"We found this lovely place on our ski trip to Jiminy Peak. Desperate for something that wasn't fried...and craving a little atmosphere as well, Hops and Vines was our lucky find. Only about 20 minutes away from the slopes, the town itself was worth the drive. Incredibly charming. As for our food, the shared muscles were our favorite. We also enjoyed the pork tenderloin and the special brisket...as well as (yes)...the burger. One of the best (not kidding) we've ever tasted. For dessert -- $2 mini sundaes all around. So yummy and the perfect serving size. And I have to mention one of the best, unexpected, perks -- you get one free kids meal per adult entree between 5 and 7. Now that was nice!"

"We live in the area and have been hearing great things from our friends. From the moment we walked through the door (which was held open for us by a smiling young woman)we were made to feel at home. The waitstaff was friendly, knowledgable, sincere and worked as a team. There was a lively group dining at the bar which added to the warm feeling in the room. I ordered the arugula salad, which had beets, prosciutto and cheese hiding among the fresh leaves. The scallops were fantastic, perfectly cooked and complimented by a citrusy hollandaise. The pork was tender and flavorful. We had a devil's food cake for dessert, which was beautifully presented. We even met the chef, who gave us little sweets to take home with us. Great touch!"

"Hops and Vines is simply outstanding...on all levels. Everyone from the hostess to the server to the chef was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and customer centric. We dined on a busy Friday night with a large group. You wouldn't know the place was busy because everything went so well. The service was great. The food and drinks were inventive and delicious. The chefs are amazing. You could tell there was a lot of thought placed into their dishes. They even came out to greet us and were incredibly kind and humble. I would highly recommend this restaurant for those that love exquisite, local food with great service."
