"One of the best restaurants on Hilton Head is Marley's. Great food, Great Service and an excellent dinning experience. Portions are filling and the quality of food and selection of food is excellent. Our group had steak, seafood pasta, shrimp, swordfish, soup and the potato skins. There was no complaint from any of are 8 guests. This is a restaurant that should be tried by all. Prices are high moderate."

"This place had a good aura when we walked in. However we were the only people there and they didn't sit us by the window like we asked, it was fixed. We think our sever was either out of it or stoned, because we had to repeat ourselves a lot and it took him a while to acknowledge any request or question we had. The food was good, not great, and a bit pricey. The Appetizers in my opinion were way to expensive for what you get, and had I known how small they were going to be we would have skipped them altogether. Our drinks were not $2 off for happy hour like they should have been. I don't think I will be back at this place. It didn't make me feel like I was on vacation, but more like I was working there."

"Had a group of seven. Everyone had something different and everyone liked what they had, both quality and quantity wise. Only negative to the night was the air conditioning was too cold and blowing too hard at our round table in a corner. When we asked to have it turned down, the manager said it would make the rest of the restaurant too warm. Some of our group had outerware to put on to be more comfortable, but others of us were just cold the entire evening. Would not take a group of six or more again and sit at that table."

"We were a party of eight (age range 8-70), and sought a good place to go for a meal out, a place that would take a reservation. Based on other reviews here, we gave it a try (tried Old Oyster Factory last year which I thought was overpriced). I would not go back, and certainly would not recommend to friends visiting the area. One word: LOUD. Others: overpriced, rushed, average food at best. Special flatbread was soggy, crab/artichoke dip could have been from Applebee's (no offense to that establishment). The shrimp and grits at HH Brewing Co. were better. Grouper and mahi were forgettable. Meals arrived 30 seconds after the soup and salad had been brought to two of our party. Waitstaff delivered meals in front of/over people at the table (I"

"Marleys was a great Hilton Head Island dining choice. We loved our ahi tuna, kettle of shrimp, Alaskan King Crab and soup. The drinks were excellent as well. We can't imagine visiting the Island without a stop at Marleys."

"We were looking for a seafood restaurant (family friendly) where the adults could have seafood and kids could get what they want. This fit that description. Reasonably priced. Our server was super polite and friendly."

"Been going to Marley's for several years now. Really got the impression from last night's experience that the place is just trying to skate by now. Once a place starts resting on its reputation, it begins to degenerate into just another tourist trap. I should have known it was going to be a bad night when I started out with a martini order-only to be told the only gin they had was Tanquery, because they just didn't sell that much gin. They were out of the wine I ordered as well. I guess that's what I get for going on a Monday night. The she crab soup had never come close to a female crab--maybe whistled at one from across the street. The supa dupa grouper was cooked and breaded very well, but the supa dupa topping was a bland, gummy mess."

"We dined there twice last year and enjoyed each experience, however, we did not find the server as knowledgeable or outgoing as the one we had last year (asked for him on our second visit). The food was ok but not the value as we have enjoyed at other early dining opportunities at other restaurants that we have dined at this year. We will not be going back."

"Been coming to Marley's for a few years. It has a tropical/Jamaican feel to it. Very fun and lively happy hour. The dining area is good too. Very spacious and the servers are happy to seat you near the bar or away if you want it a little quieter. I have never had a disappointing meal here and this occasion was no different. The seafood and chicken and fruit dinner served in a hollowed out grilled pineapple was outstanding. Just the right amount of heat (curry) to give you the true island taste. Will be back again."

"Have dined here many times and always had a good experience. This time the waitress was terrible. She was rude and not very professional when asking her questions about the menu. The food was awesome but the waitress made the night stressful . She was not tipped. I thinks she needs customer service training or another profession."

"Both meals were delicious. Grouper was nicely cooked and the crab was tasty. Triple seafood entree was broiled nicely with good flavor. Bread pudding had nice texture and flavors. Key Lime pie was okay, not great."
