"What a nice surprise. The reviews said that the decor is a bit dated, which is true, but it reflects an old European style, which is comfy. The wait staff was really attentive to us and went above waiting standards (perhaps because they realized that we were appreciate more adventurous Turkish dishes...). The dumplings appetizer is surprisingly delicious! We also ordered two different types of lamb, both of which were grilled to perfection. We will definitely return and recommend this place highly."

"We arrived 30 minutes before the restaurant closed with a reservation for that time. We were the last people in the restaurant however we did not feel rushed by the servers. Our food was delicious with beautiful presentation. The servers were not overly friendly (I don't think any of them cracked a smile or spoke above a mumble) however they were competent and attentive.
Nice moderate wine list. Prices on the higher side but the food was well worth it."

"Food was very good.. Authentic Turkish. The restaurant was very warm. I was sweating like a brick layer.. I would imagine they keep the place warm to accomodate the mainly elderly crowd.."

"We eat at Pashas at least once a month when we attend performances at Lincoln Center. The food is always wonderful; the service ensures our timely arrival at the performance and Pasha even offers a discount to Lincoln Center ticket holders. Whether dining alone or with a group, it is always a delightful experince."

"Had not been there in years. Only one of 2 dishes was very good. The salad and beans (2 appetizers) were skimpy and drenched in oil. Portions at this restaurant are not very large...so if you are hungry you will just have to order more items. Probably will not go back again."

"We love Pasha. If you've never had the chicken gorsu(I think that's what it's called), stuffed chicken, it is fabulous. The pre-theater dinner is great value and delicious food. And, if it isn't sold out when you get there, you MUST have manti which is Turkish-style meat ravioli with a yogurt sauce. Fabulous. also, if you are a wine drinker, try Turkish Yakut--delicious."

"This is one of my old favorites. that I go to regularly. Although the Monti dumplings and shepherd salad were escellent as ever, the grill fish arrived taking fried and way too salty. I was to embroiled in my friends' conversation to say anyting but will try again and give feedback if it is the same. At times the music as intrusive....like drums."

"The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was calming and lovely in the front room. We were four adults and shared three appetizers. The portions were small and not as flavorable as hoped...a bit bland. I ordered the braised lamb as an entree which was delicious! Dessert was also yummy."

"The food was wonderful, although I thought my lamb dish should have had a bit more lamb in it for the price. The prices are very reasonable for NYC. We did feel a bit rushed through our meal and we had to ask twice for more bread eventhough we had ordeded hummus which requires it. The staff was friendly and we were acknowledged immediately when we arrived. There is a great bar area too. It has the potential to be a truly exceptional place if the service improved. I would go back!"

"It is a delightful dining experience and a special treat every time we go to this restaurant. The waiters are attentive, observant, and keep an excellent cadence to the meal. The food is excellent.
