Austin's Smokin' Steakhouse
At Austin's, we've been cooking the old fashioned way since 1994. We start with the freshest ingredients we can find, delivered to our kitchen each day of the week. We make everything on our menu from scratch, every day. We grill over hardwood, not gas, the way that it was a long time ago. It may not be the fastest or least expensive way to do business, but for us, it is the only way. We want each meal you enjoy with us to be a memorable and delicious one; so we work hard preparing each dish to order, smoking ribs and brisket, filleting fresh fish, hand cutting steaks, preparing homemade soups daily and baking our fresh breads and desserts. Its a difference you can taste and one we hope you will keep coming back for. At Austin's, everything we do, we do because our customers deserve it. We will always insist on a level of service and quality that helps us deserve you.

"I've patronized this establishment many, many...times during the years and was always treated fairly. However, this last visit was different. Although the wait staff was great, the hostess had a very nasty attitude. I will visit again, but hope the hostess that was on duty is not there on the date of my return. The food was good and our server tried to make up for the rudeness of the hostess. My service rating would have been higher if it wasn't for the hostess."

"My stuffed orange roughy was delicious. My fiance got the full slab of ribs and had to send them back as they were burned but we were given no problem in doing so and the next ones came out spectacular. We love Austin's and 95% of the time our meal is prepared exactly as we order it so this did not present a problem this time around. We will definitely be back in short order!"

"The food was great. Our table ordered a little of everything: steak, prime rib, and seafood. We all enjoyed our meals. The restaurant was very busy, however, and seemed understaffed. Service was slow and our drinks would go empty for a while. But, our server was pleasant and thorough when present. The table next to ours went un-bussed for at least a half an hour. Customers waiting were crowded around our table, making our dinner conversation somewhat uncomfortable at times. Overall, the experience was adequate. Even though the food was good, the environment may prevent me from returning to dine again."

"We really enjoyed our meal and had a great waitress. She was attetnive, even as it got busy and we could see she was stressed. Food was good. The menu wasn't what I expected though... I saw steakhouse and thought more beef centered. The menu was huge and included anything you could think of! Seemed very varied. Again, we DID enjoy our meal, just not quite what we expected in terms of ambiance and menu."

"My husband was craving steak and we wanted to try somewhere new. We saw this groupon and figured it would be a perfect way to try Austins. Annie was our server and she was nice and helpful. I got the pulled pork and brisket plate with broccoli and sweet potato fries, everything was very good. Hubby had the Austin filet, it was cooked perfect. All the meat is smokey since its a wood burning place but we loved it and would come back again!"

"A litte disappointed looking forward to the Cowboy Steak or the T-Bone at 4:00 sold out of both settled for the Prime Rib it was good but not what I had in mind. Also the on line menu special on Sunday kids eat free with adult which they didn't honor over all we might try them again."

"Used open table at last minute, they took our reservation for 5 on a Saturday evening. The hostess greeted the elderly part of our party cheerfully and seated them immediately. "We were at this restaurant an hour and half and was the third table seated. Our waitress got our drinks and immediately came back to take order, after two in our party was just seated. We told her we needed a couple of minutes, she didn't come back for 15-20 minutes. We asked her to help us and she said after this next table. She waited on three tables before coming back to us. One of the tables had just been seated. This was the first time at this restaurant for our guest. Definitely wasn't impressed. We have decided not to return to this restaurant."

"We ordered the Valentines day surf & turf dinner for two, ordered the 12.00 appitizers which should have been 7.00. "at the end of the road, all I can say is wow!!!! yes to enter the place took me off guard, because I was expecting a restaurant that had a bar in it. I found myself to be in a bar they had a restaurant in it. considering it was Valentin.es Day, and pretty late that night, there was no other option because we had already made Valentines Day reservations at that particular restaurant. everything came in a timely manner, and a pool was awesome. this particular restaurant can compete with Flemings, Morton's, blue Canyon on text. The chef at this restaurant you could never insinuate is just a cook. enjoy."
