"So we had reservations but took about 10-15 to sit, once we sat it took 1hr and 15 to get our food!!! our soup(it was good) and salad took about 30 to get as well!!! I ordered the prime rib traditional cut medium rare, came more like medium and flavorless ,very bland! I have never in my life not finished a prime rib dinner till that day and at $30 what a waste. only good thing was my Girlfriends dinner who was about to storm off. She order the filet mignon medium, but cam medium rare! So unless some miracle happens, we will not be coming back."

"Harvey's is too expensive for what it offers to the clientele. Steaks at $36 or more is an ok price for a more upscale restaurant... The food was not bad, but definitely not a good value for your money. Service was poor. Although the server was nice, her etiquette was not appropriate. The restaurant manager needs to go out more and research the competition.. If he does not do this, Harvey's will close very soon. Last, but not least, a woman bar tender with sleeveless shirt? How inappropriate! Depressing "ambiance".... Will never return."

"Love this place! Used to go when it was Arbor's, and although it was fun, the food has improved greatly since it was taken over by Harvey's. One of my friends said a comparable rib eye steak at Morton's would have been $50+, and at Harvey's it was around $25., including a salad and sides. We reserved a table where we could see the band, which came on promptly at 9:00P.M., I had noted on the reservation that it was the birthday of one of our party, but not to make a big deal until dessert time, and my request was honored. As it was a Saturday, the place was packed, once the band ( which was VERY popular) started to play, it was difficult to get our waitress's attention, but the busboys were more than happy to get her for us."

"So. We got a coupon to go here. Heard the name and all reviews were not good and not bad. Well should of beloved the reviews. Not the best place for the price. I would not of even payed 20 bucks for my filet with baked potato on a big plate with very SMALL portation of veggies. So it's ok place but defently not woth the money. Went to clam jumper two weeks ago and had better everything for a total bill of 60 and bill here was 90 before coupon. Bottom line I don't recommend this place till they lower the price or up the food quality ."

"My Mom was always a fan of the Barn Steakhouse in Costa Mesa that closed down a few years ago. I decided to try Harvey's. Service was excellent but the food was just OK. I had a huge baked potato that wasn't cooked all the was through and was burning hot, like they used a microwave to cook it. My wife ordered the Ahi salad but they were out of it. All three of us liked our steaks. Ambiance was dark and quiet which was great for me. (5:00 pm Saturday night) Food was good, we all agreed the experience was good but not excellent except the service. Good neighborhood steakhouse.We would be back."

"Since we had eaten at Harvey's before, we decided it would be perfect for Valentine's Day. We were right. We were seated by the fireplace which was romantic, despite the children at various tables. The entertainment was soft enough that we could carry on a conversation. The food was up to our expectations and service was friendly and accomodating. We will definitely keep this restaurant on our list."

"The waitress had no clue how to properly serve wine. I ordered the wine and she poured my wife a full glass first then poured me a full glass and left. I did not get to taste it first. When I go to a restaurant with Steakhouse in the name I expect the staff to be well trained in how to properly serve wine.
We had steak and lobster and it was very good!"
