"We tried Bambino because it was close to Shea's and we wanted to have dinner before a show. Our reservations were at 6 and we made it to our 8 p.m. show with time to spare. The service was fast and attentive. Riceballs, prosciutto, caprese and tapenade were a tasty start. Fresh mozzarella is amazing, recommend anything from the mozzarella bar. Dinners included the meatball sandwich, meatball pizza and grilled chicken and all were spectacular. Prices were reasonable."

"Aside from a really tough flank steak one time the food and service at Bambino is always great! We did wait a little long for our drinks from the bar this time but we aren't big drinkers so it didnt change the nightich at all. It seemed some of the wait staff was new but we'll be back at some point for sure"

"From the time we entered the restaurant, there was nothing to complain about, Hostess was very prompt and friendly, table was great, server was excellent and food was delicious. the price of dinner was very reasonable and if you through in the free parking for Shea's it was a great deal. We're always trying new restaurants in Buffalo and this one is definitely a gem!!! Will recommend to friends and will return."

"Eggplant was wonderful, but pizza was tasteless. It was supposed to have pesto on it, but there was none. We waited 45 min just to get our salad, and 1 hour for our entrée. They said they were used to the "Shea's" crowd, but we were almost late for the show due to the slow service. Will not be returning here !!!"

"Prior to seeing the Book of Mormon at Shea's theater we decided to have dinner at Bambino Bar and Kitchen. This was not our first visit to Bambino in. We were pleasantly greeted by the hostess and promptly taken to our table. This first experience foreshadowed our evening. Everyone was extremely pleasant. The food was outstanding. We started with the homemade Burratta which melted in our mouths. Our entrees were the chicken piccata and pork milanese. Both dishes were outstanding, served promptly and hot. It was easy to find an excellent bottle of wine to accompany the meal. All in all an outstanding dinning experience at a very reasonable price. Great meal and a great show made for a great evening."

"There was no one at the desk to seat people and quite a few groups of people were waiting to be seated when we arrived. We did have reservations. When the girl did come it did not take long to seat all that were waiting. The atmosphere was pleasant and we were waited on fairly quickly. We asked for separate checks and the waitress very nicely said that would be fine. We had a slight problem with our orders...mine, the eggplant parmesan, was the only correct order. The mistake certainly extended our time."

"My husband and I came to Bambino's before a performance at Shea's. It was in February. We were seated on the outdoor patio which was covered and heat lamps were used to keep it warm. The table we were seated at ,was extremely cold because the covering had been sliced open. When the wind would blow the covering would blow right into you. We had to keep our coats on through dinner. The food was okay. We ordered an appetizer but the server never brought it. I don't think we would eat here again during the winter months. The inside seemed to be very crowded as well with table on top of tables."

"Went for lunch with my supervisor, and shared the chopped salad, arancini and a white pizza. Their menu is smaller than I expected, but the chopped salad was excellent, and would've made a great lunch entree by itself. Our waitress, Julie, recommended the arancini for an appetizer, and it was delicious - have to bring my boyfriend next time. Would like to try one of their pizza rossos, and the dinner menu looked intriguing. Julie was personable and attentive, and service was prompt."

"Five of us got to Bambino's 1 hour and 45 minutes before our 7:30 show at Shea's specifically so we can take our time and enjoy our dinner and wine. We ordered two pizzas and three other meals. At 6:45 the waiter finally fessed up that the pizza orders were not placed due to a technical error and that was why our food was not out. We would have to wait 5 minutes and all the food could be brought out. I said, bring the three meals at least. He did, but then the pizzas came so late after that, we did not even get to eat any of them before our show. We just took them in boxes to our car. At least we got eh meal comped. But, the waiter should have told us long before 6:45 there was a problem. We would have ordered something else!"

"Overall, our dining experience was a positive one. The Waiter (Rob) was extremely nice & well-educated on the menu. The food was excellent. The only issue was the 35-minute wait between our appetizer & main course. We had show tickets & were on a limited timeframe. We made the show just in time. I would definately recommend your Restaurant to others & do plan on coming back as a patron myself."

"Everytime we go here the food is always good. They also do a good job at getting you in and out if you have tickets to Sheas. The meatballs are just ok, and I wouldnt order them again. Personally I'd stick with the pizzas and you will be very happy."

"We enjoyed a 7pm dinner there and was difficult to make up our minds between some awesome menu and special choices. My husband had the best salmom dinner in WNY and I had a tomato cream sauce over penne pasta special. Both dinners were seasoned just right, not too spicy or too bland. That is a rare find in itself these days when meals in this area tend to be on the over seasoned cajun side. We plan on spending an evening enjoying the back patio this summer. Good food and drink in an enjoyable atmosphere inside and out! A unique find!"

"Overall our experience was a good one. Just our service was terrible. Waited 30 minutes for drinks and longer for bread and water. Every time waitress said was going to get something she never came back. Food was delicious when we finally got it. Had to wait 20 minutes to get check and we were late for a show as Sheas . I had the vodka pasta special with shrimp (for an upcharge) - the pasta & sauce were great but the shrimp were inedible. Hard, thick, white & chewy. I tried 1 bite & couldn't eat the rest; had the upcharge taken off my bill. Husband had their steak special - boring steak, bordering on dry & overcooked. I expect better from the owner of the late great Fiamma."

"Food was amazing, but they sat us outside on a cold, windy, rainy Buffalo night. They had a few heat lamps going that had some tables red-faced and sweating (including our heavily perspiring waiter) and others like us freezing from the draft coming through the plastic draping that kept blowing into the back of our chairs. It became completely intolerable when a table near us requested their heat lamp be turned off, leaving us with no heat against the plastic wall. It really was odd to be seated out there especially when we had a reservation."

"Of the four meals that were served at our table, one was great (eggplant parm) one was good (a chicken dish); one hot meal was served "stone cold" and needed to be returned to the kitchen; and the last meal was suppose to be hot and spicy and it was NOT hot and spicy at all; it was just shrimp and pasta.
Also, believe it or not, the restaurant was seating people on the outdoor patio that was heated. We were seated inside near the open door and one person at our table was freezing from the draft. In addition, the restaurant was VERY noisy."

"While the food was very good, as it has been everytime I have been there; the service was very poor. When we arrived our server asked if we were going to Sheas which we replied that we were. We waited what seemed to be an unusually long time for our food. We asked our server for our check at 7:05 so that we could leave and walk over to the theatre. We watched her run around for 15 minutes before she finally brought the check over to us. We were just about ready to leave what we thought would be the appropriate amount without seeing the check, when she finally brought it over as we stood up with our coats on ready to run out the door.I will definitely think twice before going there before a show."

"Appetizers- calamari and fried artichokes were bland. Meals were just a bit better ,tasty but nothing outstanding. The service was terrible, we had to ask twice for our wine and three times to get our water and if you want more bread they charge you! We had five people and the tiny loaf was not enough.
With all of the great restaurants in Buffalo there is no reason to spend your money here

"This was our first time and overall the food and atmosphere good. However, service was not what I would have expected. When we sat down we were asked if we were in a hurry as there was a lady training a new girl, which was acceptable and ok with us. However, the "trainer" was quite overbearing and kept jumping in which we found rude and demoralizing to the young girl. After we got our food, the "trainer" came by and said hope you enjoy the food and we never heard another word from her or the new waitress, except when time to pay the bill. What happened to stopping by to check on how the food was? Overall, it was just an ok experience and may or may not choose to go back."

"My only dislike was our table. We were on the second floor, the last table next to the railing, toward the front of the restaraunt. I was in the chair closest to the aisle. I had to be pulled in very close, or constantly move my chair in when someone needed to pass behind me. To me, it was one table too many, or the tables needed to be moved slightly back toward the rear of the restaraunt, if that is possible at all. The food, and decour were outstanding. It was a bit pricy on the drinks."
