"The food was good. We had healthy steak salads. The RAM is a good place for watching a big game as we watched the Blackhawks playoff game while dining with a client. You can eat in the bar area where the noise level was more energetic, or eat in the dining area where you can watch the game and have a conversation without a lot of noise. They also have a private dinning room ideal for business meetings or special occassions.
The service was good. The hostesses were accomodating. The waiter was attentive without bothering us. I especially liked the micro brews."

"Reservation honored...very noisy, large bar and many large groups. food for the most part was acceptable bar type food...good burgers or many versions....one dish came cold and overcooked...they did replace it and not charge for it...so that was good. Service was good, again, this is a very casual, sports bar place...so you get what it is"

"I have been at this restaurant many times. It's a micro-brewery with lots of burgers and a few salads, sandwiches and entrees. Seems like they went more for the burgers and dropped some items since I was here last time. It is reasonable, consistent, and good for beers and sports on TV."

"Staff very helpful; waiter funny and very friendly. He seem to have a large number of tables so it took a long time to get any additional requests fulfilled (like drink refills.) Twice the host came over to help him out. All in all though, everyone was really helpful though."

"We were not seated until 7:15 for a 7 pm reservation. Food service was slow and after our server left the bill, he never returned to pick up our payment. We had to request a manager in order to settle our bill. Overall, it was not a pleasant evening of dining."

"We had a big group of 11 to celebrate my birthday. The table was ready when we got there, but the service was awful. Five of us were there first and no one even greeted the table for nearly 10 minutes. Everything took very long, regardless if it was a water or food. Two steaks ordered medium rare were well done and when sent back it took 15 minutes to get a new steak. (by that time the rest of the table was finished). The food was good, but the service was so poor I would not return."

"Was hoping for a good casual dining experience. Unfortunately, the food was uniformly bad. There were 7 of us (4 adults, 3 kids). 2 of the kids ordered Macaroni and Cheese - it was a bit dry and not nearly as good as I make it at home. One adult ordered a steak burger - it was full of gristle, to the point that he send it back and decided to get the french dip (which is what I ordered as well). We both found the french dip to be dry and the meat of low quality. Although this restaurant has been around quite a while, I am not sure how and what I might be missing."

"The food was good. It wasn't amazing but it was good. Our waitress was excellent. We had 14 people including six kids and she was great with all of us. She was actually our hostess and then I guess they asked her to be our waitress as well. She handled it wonderfully and was excellent especially with the kids. She made the experience."

"The atmosphere was great. The service very good as well. The food was less impressive. My husband ordered a steak which was overcooked and not very flavorful. I ordered a low cal meal of grilled chicken and roasted veggies. The plate was less than desirable. The veggies were bland and unappealing. The beer selection was great though, according to my husband."

"We had our first date at the RAM and got engaged at the RAM on the anniversary of our first date. The RAM had "our booth" decked out in white linen and candlelight. Who says a Sports Bar can't be Romantic? When we returned to the RAM for our first Valentine's as Mr and Mrs, they again brought out the linens and candlelight. We'll be going back to the RAM every Valentine's day! The staff has really gone above and beyond to make our special days special"
