"My family celebrated Mother's Day by having lunch at Matteo's. We had reservations for 7 at 12:45 pm and were seated right away (even before our entire party arrived - loved that!). The atmosphere was excellent as well as the service and food. We had a great time, and everyone left with a "leftover box" as the portions are very generous!"

"This is our second time at Matteo's and we had a good time and a wonderful meal. We thought we had an early reservation (6:30) but the restaurant was quite busy when we arrived. Nonetheless they were ready for us and seated our group of 8 people right away. Our server (Katia??)was excellent although she seemed a bit stretched at times. It was not her fault as she clearly was working hard and she was very attentive and knowledgable when she was waiting on us. She was especially gracious to my mother who was celebrating her 83rd birthday. I like this restaurant, the food is good, the atmosphere is friendly and the prices are reasonable."

"It's on the downtown square of Noblesville which is very quaint. The atmosphere is an open floor plan with white linens so it could be dressy but many were dressed casually. There is not much of a bar. The table service was friendly and knowledgeable but slower than I prefer. The calamari appetizer was OK but a bit bland. The house chopped salad was very good and flavorful. I went with the simple bolgnese and enjoyed it very much although I would suggest a little more seasoning. The fish special was delicious but pricey relative to the menu items. The panne cotta dessert was among the best I have ever had. Overall, we liked the food and experience and will go back."

"This was our first visit to Matteos and we know for sure that it is someplace that we will keep in mind for future special occasions. We dined with our 12 year old son who ordered the kids Fettuccini Alfredo and loved it. My husband ordered the Spaghetti Golfo and I order the Penne (?) can't remember the full name of the dish...cream sauce, homemade italian sausage. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and were very flavorful, love the fact that Matteo's makes the sausage themselves. The insalata was simple with a homemade Balsamic Vinegarette which was outstanding. The bread was crusty, yet soft inside and accompanied by a robust herbed olive oil for dipping. Overall, outstanding. Good Value. I would say also a great lunch spot..."

"The total experience was amazing! From the second we arrived we were treated like we were the only table in the restaurant. Menu was definately traditional Italian with a "twist". We were a party of 5. Our server did a great job explaining the menu and history of the owner/chef. He also let us know if there was an item we wanted that was not on the menu or if we wanted to alter an item they would be happy help The bread and infused oil were the best I have had! We decided to order 4 appetizers and 3 menu items to share. We had 2 birthdays at our table. Complimentary birthday desserts were yummy "lighted" Panna Cotta's. We also ordered Chocolate Cake. Although the portions were large there was not much left to take home. Thank You Matteo's!"

"My husband has been unemployed since October so needless to say we have not been able to eat out..We were given money for our 1 yr anniversary and was told it had to be used for something special..... we both immediatley said that Matteos is what we wanted to do with the money.. "My wife and I both ordered the TORTELLINI MATTEO’S and were dissappointed. I would expect that this "signature" dish should be representatived of what the chef can do but we were both disappointed. We got a plate full of tortellini which was so boring that neither of us finished it. To describe it the words "heavy" and "creamy" are all that come to mind. We would love to think "tasty" and "attractive" but that would be lying.
Perhaps another problem is the a la carte entrees. feel as though we should be eating at a smorgasboard which would have cost us a lot less than the $85 we spent!"

"Matteo's is a great local restaurant on the downtown square in Noblesville, IN. They serve a variety of delicious Italian favorites as well as some creative new dishes. The innovative chopped salad was very good, served with toasted bread for a balance of texture. They have a nice wine list, and serve by the bottle and by the glass. Their homemade desserts are wonderful, as is the bread and dipping oil. This is a great restaurant for both special occasions, as well as everyday dinners or lunch."

"Matteo (and his brother Arturo) offer the most authentic Italian in the Indy area. Matteo, his wife, their servers, are all about "the experience." They do not have to "get it." Being Italian, he comes from where "it" was invented!"

"We don't live in Noblesville so this was a long drive to take. I had heard great things about Matteo's but just wasn't as impressed as I had hoped I would be. The portions were large, but just not the flavor there that I had hoped/expected. The restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night and also very loud, so good for large groups or kids with families."

"Matteo's has a warm small town neighborhood charm. Fabulous food, extensive wine list, outstanding service, and very pleasant surroundings. Sit back, relax and enjoy a great dining experience.
I recomend a stroll around the courthouse square to observe the architecture of the courthouse, and take in the local shops. A kind of "desert" after desert."
