The Dunraven Inn
The Dunraven Inn is a special place for many people and we hope you will see why. We are especially proud of our staff, many of whom have worked for us for many years. Our goal is to provide great food and service, in a restaurant that is warm and friendly.
We offer an extensive wine list that will compliment our food at a good value to you. Any questions you have regarding a wine or pairing a wine to your dinner, please feel free to ask! We have a fully stocked bar and serve many varieties of bottled beer.

"WE started with the mussel appetizer and they were great, the homemade croutons on the Ceasar salad were the best I ever had, and the entrees were both superb. Our server was Olga and she was delightful, very courteous and always there at just the right time, she made our dining experience just that much better. We will always visit the Dunraven Inn whenever we are in Estes Park it was truly a wonderful anniversary dinner."

"Hmmmm ...... I just discovered we've eaten at The Dunraven a total of 74 times since my last review, which was in August of 2012. Clearly Andy et al are doing SOMETHING right. In fact that something that they do seems to get better and better. Tonight they introduced delicious Bangs Island (Maine) mussels to their menu. Mussels have always been one of my favorites at The Dunraven, but these were simply awsome. Plump and flavorful they were among the best I've tasted anywhere. I had the seasonal salad to begin, while my wife enjoyed the asparagus soup. Her filet mignon was cooked to perfection, as always, and served on this occasion with French fries (she usually orders a baked potato). For us there is no better restaurant in Estes Park th"

"This was our first time at Dunraven. Loved it. Although it was Estes Park Restaurant Week, and they were offering a few of their Italian dishes as part of the special, we opted to order off the regular menu. We chose a baked halibut and a sirloin steak as entrees. Both were very well prepared & delicious. They happed to have a group of 48 College Students that night for a party, so it was rather loud, but fun to watch the young students all dressed up and snapping pics, etc. They were well behaved overall, so not really any issue. The staff handled that party very well, without lacking attention to the rest of the diners. We definitely will go back to Dunraven and check out some of their italian fare next time."

"Good food and staff;reasonably priced regular menu and wine list. There was even a talented classical guitarist the night we dined, making for an enjoyable and relaxed evening. My husband and I both enjoyed two specials--my husband had the bone-in bison ribeye and I had the halibut.
My husband prepares a lot of game and said altho' the bison was tasty, he thought it had been OVER-charred on the outside and had been cooked too quickly, resulting in chewy fat on the ribeye instead of a melt-in-your-mouth juicy steak.
Fun variety of pictures of Mona Lisa throughout. We will defitely return."

"For a special occassion weekend in Estes Park, we picked what looked like the best Italian restaurant in town. Following the Google map they had linked on their web site we got completely lost, by about 25 miles. We drove around for an hour before we finally found it. We mentioned it to the gentleman who I believe is the owner and he said that he knew it was wrong and that he was trying to get Google to fix it. No appology for getting us lost. They simply could have taken the link off until it was fixed instead of frustrating their customers. The food was VERY so-so with canned sliced black olive in the salad. Not what I'd expect from a supposed high class, higher dollar restaurant. Not recommended for special occassions. Lunch, maybe."

"The Dunraven is without doubt our favorite restaurant close to home. We have been regular and frequent customers for many years. On this occasion I chose the seasonal (spinach) salad and the shrimp parmesan while my wife ordered the house salad and the filet mignon, although we have many favorites on the menu. The swordfish is particularly good, as are the mussels, and the sea scallops (pan seared with mushrooms and a wine white sauce) are delicious. The owner (Andy) and all of the staff at The Dunraven are superb. We love everything about this place."

The chicken was a very good portion, juicy and with a well-balanced sauce but the swordfish was just good - maybe a little over-prepared with little excitement; it was basically a breaded swordfish steak topped with a spinach salad. The ahi tuna sashimi was very good and fresh. Dinner salads were also very good. Overall, we had a very good dinner with very good service from Olga (I believe). I would certainly go back and I would recommend this off-the-beaten-path restaurant."

"We have visited the Dunraven on many special occassions, especially Valentine's Day, Anniversaries and birthdays. Each time the restaurant, meets or exceeds our expectations. My wife thoroughly enjoyed being able to sit by the fireplaced as we dined on Valentine's Day. Our waitress was outstanding and made us feel very special. We will continue to visit the Dunraven and we have also dined with our adult children and grandchildren. We're hoping "they" will continue to dine at the Dunraven on their special occassions."

"Service was slow. We sat for several minutes after being seated without being attended to. Our cocktails did not arrive until the salads were served. We both had the seafood special which was flavorful, but both the tuna and mahi were overcooked to the point that the fish was almost "tough." I have eaten at the Dunraven for more than a decade and have rarely been disappointed, but this night I was."

"We were promptly greeted, given our choice of two tables - we chose the romantic one by the fire. Our server was Renee. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, attentive without being overbearing and professional. We had only visited this restaurant once a year ago and the experience was equally pleasant. "We have been to the Dunraven Inn many times. It is always our first choice to take out-of-town guests for a special meal. Their pasta is fantastic, and they always have fresh (not frozen!) seafood specials. The atmosphere is cozy and fun; Mona Lisas and dollar bills adorn the walls. Great wine list, superb service. Truly a delight."

"We went to Dunraven by recommendation for my birthday. I ordered the steak and lobster special. The lobster was the WORST lobster I have ever had (I didn't even know it was possible to have bad lobster). It had absolutely NO flavor, and even the butter to dip it in was flavorless. I couldn't even eat it. My steak was fair, but my husband's steak was also flavorless. We will never go back."

"We thorougly enjoyed are dining experience. All the staff were friendly and made every effort to make sure we were happy. Our server Brandon did an outstanding job for us as well as other people that he was serving. We had drinks in the bar before dinner and the bartender was friendly, smiling and on top of checking with us as far as ordering drinks. We definitely plan to frequent The Dunraven."

"Another fabulous meal at The Dunraven Inn in Estes Park! The seasonal salad was a meal itself and our main courses of prime rib and filet were just as yummy. Our server made sure that we were having a great time and the acoustic guitar in the background was just right. If you can request the little dining room in the back I would. It is our favorite and a little bit quieter for an intimate dinner."
