"The waitress mixed up our salads. When I asked where is the blue cheese dressing, she said it was there but got me more. Later we realized someone else at our table had my salad and I had hers with a vinegrette dressing. Later in the meal the waitress mixed up our steaks. I received a steak cooked rare and the other person received mine which was to cooked medium. I looked well done. Once again it took us some time to realize what had happened. This is too expensive a restaurant for this to go on. It spoiled the evening."

"LOVED the food (we both had Steak Diane). The meat was cooked to perfection, BEST potatoes we ever had, FRESH vegetables, and FRESH salad. It couldn't have been better. We dined early, so it was very quiet. We definitely want to come back and try your fondue.

I really appreciate the chef's attention to detail regarding my need for gluten free.

"The service was good at first, very attentive. But as it got busier not so much. We were there about an hour and a half and only had apps and main entree. We were here for our anniversary and were seated in front of the fireplace but it wasn't on. It would have been nice to have it on and I guess we could have asked to have it turned on. I hadn't been here in years and was looking forward to sharing this with my Husband. The food was great (just as I remembered).A couple of days later I was going over my credit card charges and noticed that we had been overcharged $20. Our bill came to aprox $80 and we left a cash tip of $15 on the table. I called the Chalet and they appologized and sent a check for the $20 which I got in 1 day. thank you!"

"Went here for date night. The place was a little smaller than I expected, but the tables are spaced ok. The lack of a paper menu was interesting as the waitress brought a large, easel-like painting over to the table, which was the menu. I had the lamb, and the Mrs had the Sea Bass. Food was cooked just as requested, and we enjoyed it. They were out of some wines listed on the menu, but neglected to inform us of that until we has ordered one of them. Only complaint is that since the place was so small, everytime someone opened the front door, it distracted away from the enjoyment of the meal."

"Very good. Always friendly. Nice little outing from Colorado Springs. Only comment is that menu needs to change periodically and have some lighter options available. Also, have been a number of times for brunch on weekends and there is rarely any egg dish/brunch dishes which has changed our frequency of going there for brunch."
