"Went on Father's Day with family of five. Started off with excellent oyster selections and wine. Salads big enough that we only needed two for five people. Food was very good and nicely prepared. Only gripe was small lobster tail for big price. Server, Wade was attentive and very pleasant, made the meal most enjoyable. Took home leftovers. Had the delicious flan for dessert.

"Overall, I was very disappointed with my dining experience, I don't think I will return to this restaurant. The service was generally good and the food had good seasoning and flavor; but there were many flaws throughout the meal. Most of our seven dishes were overcooked, and my side dish never arrived, and somewhat slow service. Whenever you are paying $35 - 50 per entree plus $9 side dishes, I expect the food to be above average. Ambiance is rather odd, loud, and at night it resembles the dining room of a cruise ship with blue lighting and its decor. Considering its price point, the food should be cooked to temperature, the lobster tail properly cleaned, and the interiors should be better appointed and kept up to date."

"We absolutely loved the relaxed feel of this place. I wore a dress, and my friend wore nice jeans and we both felt comfortable. Anis, our waiter was polite, patient, and didn't rush us and timed each dish very well. I enjoyed a cooked to perfection Wild Alaska Halibut with a side of the creamiest mashed potatoes and mushrooms. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the Filet Mignon and a side of creamed spinach. We were able to enjoy each others company without having to compete with loud music or shouting patrons. The prices were reasonable, given the ambiance, the location, the service, and the freshness of everything. I frequent it as often as my budget allows. Try it! It will be your new "favorite.""

"Situated in the very heart of Mary Brickel Vilage, The Ocenaire proved to be the perfect spot for outdoor dining with a view. Very good friends of ours were visiting from Toronto and inquired about a great seafood place for us to take them to. We chose based on OpenTable reviews and were not disappointed. The all seafood was fresh and deliciously prepared. The ambiance was vibrant and energetic, throngs of well-dressed tourists and locals were passing by late into the night. "Our waiter was strange. He seemed to be annoyed at us at some points. Also when we asked for any recommendation all he did was look for the most expensive menu item. We were celebrating a birthday and I do believe that in a restaurant such as oceanaire we should receive outstanding service and genuine recommendations, not just told to order the highest price item. His explanations of menu items were very long winded andconfusing at some points.

"Every time I go to Oceanaire, I am more and more content with my decision to dine at this location. The food is always exquisite, service is excellent, staff is friendly. I dined in a private room with my family for this particular experience. Very quiet and great for a small crowd. Every one of my attendants was pleased overall with the experience.

"I was a little dissapointed this time as I went with a different fish, the Grouper.
Although prepared exquisitely, it was small and very expensive. I actually left hungry.
You dont want that feeling when you spend $150 on dinner. Service was ok, as our waiter got busy and forgot about us. Probably just an off night. Its still a great spot for seafood and we will be back."

"As I returned to this restaurant one week after my initial visit means I liked it a lot. Good food and good service. However, we ate early (6 PM) before it became crowded, so I can't speak for those who dined later. I would definitely return again."

"This was my first visit to this restaurant. The decor is modern, subdued bluish lighting, rather unusual but nice. Service was good, our waiter tried hard to please and did a good job. One of the managers stopped over and we offered him a taste of an upscale wine we had brought with us, he was pleasant and appreciative. My dish, a mixed seafood grill was quite good and portioned so that I required a doggy bag. We had a baked Alaska for dessert that was flambed at our table, something you do not see much anymore. And, I was pleasantly surprised with the moderate bill. I will definitely return to this venue."

"Having enjoyed the Baltimore restaurant we had high expectations for this one..
Unfortunately, from a rude and unpolished hostess the night started poorly.
With half of the restaurant empty we had to wait 20 mins for a table to be cleaned and set.
Our waiter took approximately 15 mins to arrive, slowly took our drink orders and moved on to appetizers and entrees.
And then we did not see anyone for 40 mins! Finally an apologetic waiter cane to tell us that our waiter was sent home and that they were confused about our orders. Finally our entrees arrived, which were ok but not impressive, but they forgot our appetizers! At this point we were so disappointed and frustrated that we refused their offer for complementary desserts and left."

"I had a wonderful time and the food was incredible. One of the best places I have ever been to ever. if you like seafood, Incredible on beyond and service second to none you need to visit this place. I highly recommend it.just remember if you valet park in front of the restaurant which is recommended that you do, the cost is 15 dollars and you pay the valet when you pick up your car."

"I have been to other Oceanaire Restaurants and they have been great. The one in Miami was average to say the least and for the amount of money ($300 for a table of two) you spend, I expect more. We waited a long time for everything and when the food was brought out, I had to send mine back because it was over cooked."

"We started with a ceviche peruano (pescado) and a bottle of Chardonnay from Stag's Leap Wine Cellar, Napa Valley. Yummy!!!!!! The olive oil grilled Cobia (fish) was delicious. Four of us had it prepared differently and we all loved it. My husband had the New York strip steak which he loved. We continued with a bottle of Pinot Noir from Gary Farrell Selection of River Valley. Great Choice! The sides were also delicious. I loved the garlic wilted spinach. The service was excellent. I loved the ambiance and I will definitely go back again."

"I went for Valentine day for a 3 time. I thought this was the worse time spend there. My waiter was barely around was overwhelmed by tables didn't explain menu too good. When food was brought to table missing ingredients then came 10 minutes later . The wine bottle was far away we had to constantly refill ourselves on previous visit or waiter was always there she acted like of we couldn't afford to be there we felt ignored horrible service . The experience was my worse I spent 175 just for two I expect exceptional service not fast food service .... I felt like not tipping but felt bad so I did"

"I was with my Girl Friend for Valentines Day. She lives in Miami and I was in from out of town. I had the Crab Cakes; while the cakes were very good and rich in taste, it was nothing to brag about. My Girl friend had the scallops and they were fully cooked however again, nothing to write home about. We both had the mushrooms and they were nothing fancy just mushrooms in garlic.
