"Really, really good: casual, friendly service, nice menu. Started with wood-oven pizza to share, and all of our pastas were very tasty (I enjoyed papardelle with shrimp). Interesting and yummy dessert selections, too."

"Had a very tasty brunch here of baked eggs. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was pleasant. It's near the AMNH, so I'd definitely recommend it for a pre-museum brunch outing."

"2 friends and I were most delightfully surprised by the excellent Italian cuisine. Having just returned from Tuscany this ristorante compares most favorably. Pricing is refreshingly moderate and the entire staff was gracious. A winner!"

"Good restaurant with nice ambience and the food was quite good at reasonable prices. I had an great pizza with an amazing truffle oil and my girlfriend ate pasta which had a very "homemade" feel to it. Basic italian (but good) food and I would definitely go back. And recommend to others.
On the downside, they had automatically added 18% gratuity even though we were only two guests - first time I have experienced that in NYC."
