Forte was established in 1995, by Jon Ucal, and to this day he continues to supervise every facet of the business. "Charming restaurant, food was very good. The waiter forgot to bring my husband's appetizer, but he was not charged for it. Food came out very fast...probably because it was not crowded when we were there. I ordered the rack of lamb...small lollipop chops, very tasty, but small portion. Will go back and try something different."

"The restaurant has a musty smell. When first seated, service was excellent but by the end of the meal, we sat for quite awhile, totally unacknowledged by the wait stay- waiting for our bill. Food was slightly above average, but by no means exceptional. The bread served with dinner was stale."

"Good could have been excellent if the pasta served was cooked properly. Very nice menu with many choices, service was a lacking a bit in follow up because the restaurant was probably a little busier than planned for a Monday night. I was happy to see many home-made pasta's on the list and ordered the seafood fra diablo over home-made pasta, and we also ordered a veal dish over home-made pasta. The seafood and veal were very good, but the pasta was very over cooked, unfortunately by the time the waiter came back to check it was to late to send it back. The salad and home-made deserts were excellent, and a skillful bartender made 2 delicious martini's. We will give it another try."

"Having been to Forte for the first time with my wife for Valentine's Day, I'd say it was a good experience. I know that V-Day tends to be a day restaurants don't like; as to whether that separated Forte from being good and not great on that day, I don't know.
The paired down prix fixe menu was nice, though the heart-shaped ravioli were too large and too plain; the salad certainly seemed out of a bag. The entrees (steak and salmon) were both delicious and enjoyable--the highlight of the night. The chocolate mousse, while simple, was quite tasty. The service was impeccable; he was there when we needed him and gone during our Valentine's reflections. We may return on a non holiday to see what things are like."

"The web site for the restaurant states that dress code as business casual. No way, most people were in sports attire, like just coming from a game. Please, don't dress for this restaurant, nice jeans are just fine."
