The Norsemen has a reputation for great food and great times. Get off the beaten path, enjoy the lakeside view, and savour the superb cuisine.
Whether nibbling in the dining room or on the lakeside screened-in porch, delight in a diverse menu beginning with appetizers like Duck Confit Poutine in a brandy peppercorn gravy, Nawlin’s Crab Cakes in a Creole Remoulade, or Smoked Boar Stuffed Mushroom Caps. Unwind with delicate Ontario Trout pan seared with butter and lemon, savoury Venison tenderloin, or slow roasted Alberta Prime Rib. Stretch the languorous evening further with dreamy decadent desserts like S'Mores Mousse Cake or Green Tea Poached Pear.

"Les and the team at the Norseman continue to provide a great dining experience in Muskoka. Worth the trip from Dorset , Baysville, Dwight, Bracebridge or Huntsville, you will not be disappointed.
If you have not tried the Norseman, you owe it to yourself to do so."

"Very quiet, just a couple other tables occupied through the evening. Nice log burning fireplace. Nicely presented meals, creatively made. Perfect portions unless you're an "all you can eat" type. (in which case you're probably not here anyway)"
